HØST I BERGEN (NORGE)
Ciro,

Further information:
This video reviews the train journey from Bergen to Oslo, Norway in October 2017. Captions will give you further information and tips about this very scenic journey. This train is run by Norway national state railways: NSB (Norges Statsbaner AS - since April 2019 NSB was rebranded as Vy).
I read so much about it and unfortunately a previous trip to Oslo didn't give me the chance to experience this epic train journey on the Bergen Line (Bergensbanen).
Known for its wet weather, Bergen offered a stunning sunny and crisp weather for my stay there and (apart for some morning mist), I enjoy the same sunny weather during my journey to Oslo.
The views were spectacular and the autumn colours added a special dimension to the landscape offered. The time flew past and the changing landscape from fjords, barren high altitude plateau, snow capped mountains and pine forests and lakes kept my attention high throughout the journey. I can't recommend enough this experience. Is it one of Europe's or the World's best train journey? You decide - maybe from this video or experiencing for yourself.
I bought the tickets online directly from NSB:
My train journey was to take more than the 6hr 45 min scheduled. The train was delayed by more than an hour - a quick search online confirmed that I was entitled to a refund for such a delay:
The train also stops at Myrdal station where you can take the branch line to Flåm. This service is privately run and tickets can be bought on the link below:
Video includes footage of Bergen train station, carriages (in first class Komfort, 2nd class and Kafe the cafeteria section).

This is part 2 of Bergensbanen
Part 1:
The Bergen Line (Norwegian: Bergensbanen), also called the Bergen Railway, is a 371-kilometre long standard gauge railway line between Bergen and Hønefoss, Norway. The name is often applied for the entire route from Bergen via Drammen to Oslo, where the passenger trains go, a distance of 496 kilometres. It is the highest mainline railway line in Northern Europe, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau at 1,237 metres (4,058 ft) above sea level.
The railway opened from Bergen to Voss in 1883 as the narrow gauge Voss Line. In 1909 the route was continued over the mountain to Oslo and the whole route converted to standard gauge, and the Voss Line became part of the Bergen Line. The line is single track, and was electrified in 1954-64. The Bergen Line is owned and maintained by the Norwegian National Rail Administration, and served with passenger trains by Norwegian State Railways (NSB) and freight trains by CargoNet. The Flåm Line remains as the only branch line, after the closure of the Hardanger Line. The western section from Bergen to Voss is also served by the Bergen Commuter Rail, and was shortened following the 1966 opening of the Ulriken Tunnel. More:

Hurtigruten Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Hurtigruten in Norway.
We begin one of the most beautiful sea journeys in the world in Bergen, an ancient seaport and trading town where we will be passengers on Norway’s,‘Hurtigruten’. The Bryggen district was once founded by the German Hanse and is one of Bergen’s most famous landmarks. The picturesque houses that once belonged to German traders make the charming historical district look more like an open air museum. The Ms Nordnorge is one of a new generation of ships that belong to the famous Hurtigruten Fleet and can take seven hundred passengers. At the mouth of the Nidelv in the Trondheimsfjord is the third largest city in Norway, Trondheim, an important trading and administrative centre. At the beginning of the thirteenth century Trondheim was a city of great influence and was also where the Norwegian kings of mediaeval times were crowned and although it gradually lost its political importance it still contains several fascinating buildings. From Trondheim the ship travels the century-old historic route north into Norway’s most remote regions. Four and a half hours from Bodø and we arrive at the Lofoten, a fairy-tale group of islands in the North Atlantic. When the weather is fine we relax on deck, take in the fresh sea air and sunbathe while the ship glides through the water. A round trip through the historic town of Kirkenes marks the end of a wonderful journey through the fjords and coastal towns in the north of Norway.

BERGEN TO OSLO RAILWAY NORWAY Bergensbanen
RAILWAYS FROM WIKIPEDIA
The Bergensbanen - the railway between Bergen and Oslo in Norway - is the highest mainline railway line in Europe and one of the most spectacular, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau at over 1200 meters (4000 feet) above sea level.
The overland route between Bergen and eastern Norway crosses the harsh and inhospitable Hardangervidda plateau, which stands between the western fjords and the interior. The construction of the line was exceptionally challenging. It had to be laid high above sea level, in a region without roads and with a climate that saw many feet of snow in the winter and temperatures far below freezing. Tunnels and cuttings had to be excavated through solid gneiss, with one tunnel alone - that at Gravhals - taking six years to build, mostly by hand.
The line from Voss to Myrdal was opened in the summer of 1906, with the full line opening for passenger traffic on 27 November 1909. The Bergensbanen runs for a total length of 493 km with 182 tunnels, totalling approximately 73 km. The longest single tunnel on the line is that at Finse, just over 13 km long. The line crosses 300 bridges spanning numerous rivers and streams. The highest station on the line (and the highest mainline station in Europe) is at Finse, 1222.2 meters above sea level. The line's highest point was Taugevatn near Finse, at 1300 meters, until Finsetunellen opened in 1993; it is now inside this tunnel, at 1237 meters. It takes a total of 6-7 hours to travel the full length of the line. The line is today a popular tourist attraction, as well as a busy intercity route. 1974 TRIP
