A destination that borders on perfection - Bermagui Sapphire Coast NSW
Bermagui hugs the edges of its spectacular harbour and nestles under the shadow of Gulaga (Dromedary Mountain). A small and vibrant coastal town, offering boutique services and attractions, many unique to this area.
Bermagui is famous for its deep sea and game fishing – including yellowfin tuna and marlin – and estuary fishing in the surrounding rivers and lakes.

Experience magnificent scenery and coastal bush walks in the nearby national parks and state forests. Don’t miss the renowned Blue Pool and Camel Rock, quiet beaches or a guided tour of the historic Montreal Goldfield.
For some retail therapy, wander the boutique shops through the township, at the Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf complex and further along over the Bermagui River bridge. You will be sure to find something that takes your fancy, a special gift or a memento of your visit.
You will be spoilt for choice with the variety of dining styles. Seafood (of course), Italian, Asian, modern Australian, a la carte, bistro style pub and club meals, pizza and takeaway, cafes and waterside eateries and wine bar.

Lavalle Family, Commercial Fishing family from Ulladulla, NSW
More than just a food source, the NSW seafood industry is also rich with stories and personalities. Sydney Fish Market is proud to share a series of videos that capture the essence of this great industry that we work in.
Every family has a story to tell... welcome to the Lavalle's. Joe, Antonia, Charlie and Tony are a family of commercial fishers from Ulladulla that reflect on some of the challenges they've faced as fishers and how courage, heart, strength and family holds everything in place.
Marly's visit to Bermagui and Merimbula, N.S.W.
I went to visit Mark and Sue, who took me to visit some areas of the South Coast of N.S.W.. It is a beautiful part of the world and if you would like to know more about this area, visit south-coast-vacation-packages.com.
Their friends Dawn and Ernie came for a drive with us and we went to Bermagui and Merimbula. At Bermagui, we went to Fishermans Wharf. We had some yummy fish and chips and I saw fishing boats and had a ride on a tractor. There was a wooden sculpture as well.
At Merimbula, I saw some beautiful Lorikeets. One of them came up really close to me!
We went to Oaklands at Pambula. They have events/weddings/conferences in a barn style building that also has pony rides, a garden shop/plant nursery and café.
I sat on a horse and I saw some very old cars and met a very cute little bear as well. There were some very colourful characters, I think they were cows!
We went to the Merimbula waterfront and had a look as well as eating some more yummy food.
I had a wonderful time, thanks Mark and Sue.
