Bermagui hugs the edges of its spectacular harbour and nestles under the shadow of Gulaga (Dromedary Mountain). A small and vibrant coastal town, offering boutique services and attractions, many unique to this area.

Four Winds | Wise up to Wetlands | Bermagui Project
Four Winds | Wise up to Wetlands
An artistic environmental education and awareness raising initiative by Four Winds.
In partnership with Traditional Yuin Custodians, Bermagui Primary School, The Bermagui Flora and Fauna Reserve Trust and Local Land Services South East.
Wise up to Wetlands was a school based artistic program raising awareness and knowledge of the crucial wetland areas in Bermagui, NSW, There was a lack of knowledge about the uniqueness and significance of these areas that has now been improved by instilling a recognition and pride of them in the local community, particular amongst our younger generations, our future environmental custodians and decision-makers.
The project involved the commissioning of a song to be composed by four of Four Winds Indigenous artistic collaborators: Mr. Warren Foster Snr., Mr. Warren Foster Jnr and Mr Joel Deaves and Jacob Mason. As Yuin Traditional custodians they are committed to educating people about these important wetland areas.

Four Winds exists to enrich the lives of many people through the power of unique music-in-nature experiences. This includes a commitment to raising awareness of nature through the artistic form. We believe this is an innovative way to create a dialogue regarding environmental issues and through the arts we can extend the reach of these important issues to new audiences.
The exquisite natural setting of our festival grounds has always resulted in our audiences embracing and becoming very receptive to learning about the importance of place in relation to the creation of art and culture.
This Wise up Wetlands project compliments and supports another longer-term project being presented by Four Winds. Known as the ‘Bermagui Project’ it begins a cultural conversation through creative collaborations between musical and visual artists, scientists, and the wider South Coast community. The Bermagui Project encourages communities to reflect on ‘place’, inspired by local Indigenous knowledge, science and the environment as well as through creative arts practice.

Reflections Holiday Parks
NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust sought to develop new content across the group to populate its new website and promotional material. This comprised of park and destination images, drone footage, virtual tours of accommodation types, and writing inspirational copy.
The six month road trip delivered in excess of 30,000 images, several hours of drone footage and video, and website copy and local area write ups for the new Reflections Holiday Parks website.

In the Victorian September school holidays FunSearch went on a roadtrip adventure from Melbourne to the stunning Sapphire Coast (far south coast of NSW). It’s an absolutely beautiful part of Australia, teeming with Australian wildlife including echidnas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, goannas, seals, turtles, dolphins - and lots of friendly whales! the landscape in which the animals live, is its own natural attraction

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has received a fire briefing at the NSW Rural Fire Service headquarters in Bega.
He was joined by his wife Jenny and David Littleproud MP, Minister for Natural Disaster & Emergency Management.
Ahead of Saturday's forecast fire danger, a state of emergency has been declared in New South Wales.

Spent the night camping right on the beach at the beautiful Mimosa Rocks National Park just out of Tathra. In certain National Parks in Australia you can camp in designated camp grounds for a small fee and Mimosa Rocks is one of my favourites, with some fantastic rock formations at the Aragunnu camp site.
Today I am taking a tour to Mumbula Mountain, sacred to the local Aborigines.
Ronald Tighe, an Aboriginal guide at the Umbarra Cultural centre talks about the significance of Mumbulla Mountain.
The Umbarra Cultural Centre runs tours to local sacred sites. Participants can learn about the significance of these sites to the local Aborigines.
