Historic Berrima NSW
A look at historic Berrima NSW. Founded in 1831 on instructions from Thomas Mitchell in 1830. It was the main Southern Highlands

APPI's Investigation of Howe House in Windsor, NSW, Australia
Howe House, located at 7 Thompson Square, Windsor, is a beautiful old home, rich with Australian history. The Australian Paranormal Phenomenon Investigators were lucky enough to investigate this brilliant venue on 31 November 2013. Although not much 'paranormal phenomena' occured, it was a great night with some lovely people.
Howe House -- c1820
Now part of the Hawkesbury Regional Museum, Howe House was built for John Howe, who arrived as a free settler on the Coromandel (1802). In 1809 he came to Windsor to manage the business and farming interests of the district's most prominent citizen, ex-convict Andrew Thompson. After Thompson's death in 1810, Howe took over many of Thompson's affairs, and the house was both the Howe family residence and the headquarters of various enterprises, including major engineering projects and exploration. Howe also took over Thompson's roles as Government Appraiser, Chief Constable and Coroner. After Howe moved to the Hunter Valley, the house served a number of purposes, including inn, newspaper office and community museum.

Shep’s leading town beautification
He’s as much a part of the Singleton Town Centre as the red light poles and heritage facades, but now “Shep” is upping the ante.
An all-new mobile work station has arrived from England that will revolutionise Shep’s daily routine, changing the way he goes about keeping the area in and around John Street spick and span.
In 14 years as our celebrated CBD Operator, it might just be the biggest change he’s seen since the Town Centre upgrade.
