Borenore Berry Farm - Capital Region Farmers Market Canberra
Situated 12km West of Orange, Borenore Berry Farm is run by David and Kate Dickson who have been selling their produce at the Capital Region Farmers Market for over 12 years. Depending on the season you’ll find them selling strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries.
Sample the region’s freshest produce at the Capital Region Farmers Market held 7:30 to 11:30am every Saturday at Exhibition Park in Canberra. The Market is a community project run by the Rotary Club of Hall, the only rural Rotary Club in the ACT.

오늘은 드디어 시드니 근교 당일치기 여행지 소개를 합니다
1800년대 형성된 NSW South Coast Shoalhaven 에 위치한 Historic Town인 Berry Town에 다녀왔는데요
시드니에서 겨우 자동차로 2시간 기차를 타면 약 2시간 40분 정도 소요되는 거리에 있고 가는 길에 Woolongong Hangliding Point나 Symbio Wildlife Park 그리고 Kiama의 Blowhole등이 있어서 남쪽여행의 재미를 많이 느낄수 있는 여행지가 되겠습니다
베리 마을에서는 한 달에 2번 둘째 주 토요일과 넷째 주 일요일 오전 8시부터 오후 2시까지 열리는 베리 농산물 시장(Berry Produce Market)을 구경할 수도 있고 베리에서 퀸 스트리트의 상점들 사이에 자리 잡은 부티크 시장은 다양한 수제품이나 특산품을 판매하고 여기서는 유기농 과일과 야채도 구입할 수도 있다고 하네요.
다른 수제품의 경우, 베리 쇼 그라운드(Berry Showground)에서 매월 첫째 주 일요일에 열리는 베리 컨트리 페어(Berry Country Fair)를 방문해 보세요. 지역 특산 꿀과 가격이 저렴한 골동품 및 다양한 꽃들도 구입할 수 있답니다.
베리 과자 공장 (The Berry Treat Factory)은 사우스 코스트 지역 베리(Berry)의 그림 같은 마을에 위치하고 있습니다. 이곳은 200여종이 넘는 수제 사탕들과 잼, 소스, 처트니, 드레싱, 머스타드와 초콜릿 등을 생산하는 것으로 아주 유명하다고 하니 꼭 아이들과 한번 들리면 좋을듯 합니다
저는 친정 부모님과 언니 그리고 딸과 함께 짧은 여행을 오랜만에 함께 해서 더더욱 좋았던 여행이였고 앞으로도 근교 여행지 소개때 부모님과 함께 하면 좋겠다는 생각을 했네요

Berry House by Modscape in New South Wales. Australia
Modscape, an Australian architecture design studio, has completed the Berry House in the town of Berry in New South Wales, Australia.
This firm is known for their expansive portfolio of sustainable, custom built pre-fab homes. They even claim that each of their bespoke residences are completely ready to move in within twelve weeks.
The Berry House is a modular home that evokes an airy pavilion that is surrounded by protective walls. The project takes advantage of the surrounding idyllic forest, although the walls still protect the privacy of the residents.

This beautiful circa 1905 weatherboard home offers quintessential Berry living, with stylish interiors and lovely established grounds in a peaceful location within easy strolling distance of shops, cafes, services and Berry Public School.
The home's white and bright interiors are ideal for contemporary family living, while retaining many original features such as high ceilings, polished floorboards, a fireplace, original skirtings and pressed metal ceilings.
The house is just so beautiful, say the current owners. It's a gorgeous old house and the location is amazing. We have parties on the front verandah twice a year when there are fireworks displays at the Showground, we can go out to dinner and walk home afterwards, we take our dogs for runs at the Showground and the kids can walk to their friends' houses. The house is very private but we have everything at our fingertips. We've loved every minute of living here.
Set well back from the street and set in beautiful established gardens, the house features a front verandah opening to a wide L-shaped entrance hall. Off the hallway are four bedrooms, including master bedroom with en suite bathroom, and main bathroom. At the rear of the house is an open plan extension, with a conservatory-like curved wall of windows, comprising the kitchen, dining and living areas. A separate studio with bathroom and laundry offers guest accommodation and is also much-enjoyed as a children's playroom. There is also a swimming pool and a double carport.
More than 10 years ago, the current owners were looking to move from Sydney to the Shoalhaven region. We thought of moving to Gerringong or Kiama but we came to Berry and stopped for a coffee and saw this house in the window of a local real estate agent. We looked at it straight away and didn't look at another house -- we were hooked!
The owners are now relocating to the Sunshine Coast for health, business and family reasons but are sad to be moving on. We love Berry so much, they say, The friendships we have made have made it very special. There's more time here to be able to live your life than sitting in traffic in Sydney and people are closer to each other so it's easy to pop in and say hello to friends and neighbours. We love being so close to the beach and National Parks. It still feels special that we can drive out of our street into rolling green paddocks.
The house has been a great family home where everyone comes to gather and deserves a loving family. Old houses have a heart -- there's just something about them that makes them so special. It's been a pleasure to have enjoyed so many wonderful times here. We will definitely coming back to Berry for holidays and our neighbours have even suggested doing house swaps.
