Berry Springs is an outer suburban locality in Darwin, Australia. The suburb is a mostly rural area situated on the Cox Peninsula Road and is sparsely populated. A few businesses and a school are located in the suburb. At the 2006 census, the population of Berry Springs was 481.[1] It is located 58.5 kilometres (36.4 mi) by road from the Darwin Central Business District and lies within the Litchfield Municipality local government area.More info:

Swimming in Berry Springs Naturepark, NT, Australia

About 50 km south of Darwin lies Berry Springs Naturepark in Northern Territory, Australia. There are three main pools along a length of the creek, beginning with a small waterfall and shallow pools running into larger, deeper pools and finishing with a small weir. Below the weir there is crocodile country and swimming is definitely not recommended.

The meditative video shows a swim from the Main Pool through a natural channel under hanging trees and a green and living canopy down to the Lower Pool.

Hey all just took some footage of our family day trip to Territory Wildlife Park and Berry Springs today. I love to showcase some of our local parks on this channel and Berry Springs is always fun to visit. It's a truly and adventurous feat when visiting the Howard Springs Nature Park, located 35 kms south of Darwin, and just down the road you may even come face to face when a crocodile or two.

Berry Springs, a half-hour drive south of Darwin, has a general store, petrol station and camping and caravan facilities. The small settlement is most often visited by those wanting to explore the Territory Wildlife Park and the Berry Springs Nature Reserve. The Reserve protects a large part of the Berry Creek catchment. Berry Creek begins as a series of springs, forms a small creek then reaches Darwin Harbour through a mangrove lined estuary.

The park is an attractive area close to Darwin for recreational activities. Enjoy a refreshing swim, relax in a cascading rock pool or sit down to a picnic lunch on the idyllic shore. If you swim with goggles you can see many small native fish and other aquatic life that live in the clear pools. The world acclaimed Territory Wildlife Park, nestled in 400 hectares of natural bushland, showcases the wildlife of northern Australia, which you can see up close and in their natural habitats.

After one week at the Trevor's farm, this one has a surprise for everybody:
We go to the Territory Wildlife Park during all the afternoon before a barbie at the Berry Springs Nature Park.
Both of these places are close each other are only 60 km driving down the South from Darwin.
