Yerevan (Armenia) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Yerevan in Armenia.
Yerevan is the capital of Armenia and is a city that is twenty nine years older than Rome. In 408 A.D., the Armenian alphabet was created with thirty six letters and thus began a new era of history, culture and the spiritual world of the Armenian people. On the basis of these first manuscripts and subsequent translations, Armenia’s first library was founded in the fifth century. Old Yerevan contains traditional buildings with wonderful entrances and carved wooden adornments that continue into the actual living areas. The facades of multi-coloured decorative stone are quite fascinating. Oriental design reveals the original influence. On the western hill above the city is the Memorial Of The Genocide Of The Armenian People. New gravestones commemorate the victims of the conflict on Karabach Mountain. Arranged in a circle, basalt steles protect a flickering eternal flame like a closing hand from distant times. In the eyes of the Turks, the Christian Armenians posed a major threat. Taverns often feature singing, dancing and good food. Armenian music is very varied, often sounds oriental, and literally invites one to dance! The folk dances are quite acrobatic and dancers almost fall into a state of ecstasy due to the constant pulse of the music. Today Yerevan is a vibrant city that has become a booming metropolis in the South Caucasus and is one of the oldest cities in the world, a living reminder of the ancient Orient!

VISIT ARMENIA - THINGS TO DO IN YEREVAN (Travel Vlog)
My first visit to Armenia and my first day in Yerevan, I explored the city, visiting the cascade, seeing the mother of Armenia statue located in victory park, then meeting a local that had just started a free walking tour company and was kind enough to show me around. I visited the flea market, saw a local playing the duduk instrument, I also had another try of Kvas... and liked it. Ending off the day at republic square watching the night time fountain show.

A weekend in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia
Yerevan is the capital of Armenia, a country located in the Caucasus, bordering Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran. It is largest city of Armenia as well as one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities.
In addition to this video, also check out my blog post 10 reasons why I fell in love with Yerevan, Armenia:
In this video, you will see Yerevan's most important sights and tourist attractions, including the following:
Republic Square can be considered the main square of Yerevan. The Government House, the History Museum and the National Gallery, the Marriott Hotel and several other government buildings are located on this huge square. Originally designed by Alexander Tamanyan in 1924, Republic Square is the favorite hangout of the locals. With its unique pink neoclassical buildings and the reflecting pool, Republic Square can easily be considered Yerevan’s architectural highlight. What I found remarkable about this square was the unified architectural style – all buildings share the same pink-ish and yellow-ish neoclassical design.
The Cascade is a staircase that connects Yerevan’s center (Kentron) with the Monument neighborhood. It consists of multiple levels and a total of 572 steps. Apart from its architectural magnificence, the Cascade offers sweeping views of the city and, on clear days, mighty Mount Ararat in the background.
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts is an arts museum located within the Cascade complex. It offers a variety of exhibitions and dozens of modern and contemporary sculptures by well-known international sculptors. The sculptures are scattered around Cascade Park, the green area in the lower section of the Cascade complex.

My Armenia Travel Stories | Armenia Tour Video
My Armenia Travel Stories-
Hello! My Tribe,
Armenia video part - 1 All about Armenia
Since the time I had been hearing about this country, I was curious and eager to visit it. The underrated and oft-forgotten country of Armenia, is located in Eurasia’s South Caucasus region, and nestled between Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Iran. It’s difficult to say whether this country is part of Europe or Asia. Home to some of the world’s oldest monuments, breathtaking vistas, a hospitable culture with a rich history and a delightful food and drink scene, Armenia offers a gamut of travel experiences that will not disappoint. It’s also not overcrowded with tourists yet, a fantastic ingredient in the recipe for a unique and awesome modern day travel experience.
Armenia has a large diaspora, with about 8 million Armenians living throughout the world. Thisi is much larger than the current 3 million population of Armenia itself.
My travel partners air Arabia holidays and Air Arabia has daily direct to Yerevan,
Air Arabia and air Arabia Holidays, always makes it quick and smart! As soon as I reached Sharjah International Airport, they pampered me with their Hala Service which is a unique range of services that made my journey simple and hassle free. I was greeted and assisted, had a fast track check-in and immigration clearance, used the smart gates, and went into duty free in hardly in a few minutes. I mean it was that quick! There I spent some time at leisure in the lounge. Also scrolled through there app, Air Arabia Now you can make and manage your bookings anywhere, anytime at the tap of a finger, with their user friendly mobile app.
I was already feeling great with the pampering and then, it was even better when I entered the aircraft. Generally, we struggle with leg room in aircrafts. But Air Arabia's planes have all-economy class cabins. Legroom allowances are generally the same for all passengers
Travellers who require extra legroom can upgrade to bulkhead or exit row seats. The interiors were also classy, chic and comfortable and I had a pleasant flight 3 and half hour flight. They served me vegetable biriyani and I was content and happy before I landed in Yerevan.
A nice and pleasant flight landed me into the city of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. as usual made things smooth for me at the Yerevan airport. Visa was done in 15 minutes, for Indians its visa on arrival. Out side the airport wI was welcomed by our guide Carrinne, her smile ad red roses made me feel very welcomes. A twenty minute drive took us to Radisson Blue.
WE drove to the hotel. The hotel was really nice. With a stunning location near Victory Park and Areni Lake, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Yerevan offers 5-star accommodation on the upscale Azatutyan Avenue. magnificent hilltop setting provides beautiful views of Yerevan city center against the backdrop of Mount Ararat,
The city centre is divided into two parts, upper Yerevan and lower Yerevan. I were staying in upper Yerevan. I freshened up quickly and thought, a walking tour was the best way to really get immersed in Yerevan’s culture, history and cuisine. So off we went! The city centre was, of course, the place to do this, as it was home to landmarks like the grand Republic Square, the impressive Opera House, the 18th century Blue Mosque and the famous Cascade complex. the cascades - open-air giant stairwell leading to the top of the hill with an unforgettable view of Mount Ararat and the city of Yerevan. It sits right in the city centre and is one of its key landmarks. It was built during the Soviet period in 1971 and was completely renovated in 2009. It has eight levels, all of which are accessible by climbing up the stairwell, though those that would rather not walk can take an elevator. I decided to walk down, the views over the city were absolutely breathtaking. I was so glad I came here as it was certainly not a place to be missed. The cascades were decorated with sculptures, fountains and patches of grass. We walked down the stairs of cascades, towards the fountains and park where various art pieces were displayed, I saw some beautiful sculptures by the Columbian artist Fernando Botero

Walking Through The Streets Of Yerevan, Armenia
Flying QATAR AIRWAYS to Armenia - The BEST ECONOMY CLASS in the WORLD! Miami to Yerevan
In late September of 2019, I set off to my 75th country, Armenia. Then, after 10 days in Armenia, I’d have a 48-hour layover in Kuwait! Come along with me as I review Qatar Airways, who have the best economy class in the world, as I travel from Miami to Yerevan!
I started off my adventure at Miami International Airport, which has pretty much become my second home! I had a 21-hour travel day ahead of me!
First, I had to get to Terminal E and Gate E23. I boarded my flight and took off in our Airbus 350. It has a 3-3-3 configuration and amazing TVs. They have infinite entertainment and a lot of legroom! They also give you a packet containing an eye mask, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and socks. You also get a blanket!
On Qatar Airways you also get a menu with dinner, brunch, and drinks. If you travel Economy Class, get a seat in the back because they serve the back first, so there’s less chance of the thing you want being sold out. My friend has Gold Priority with Qatar Airways, so they serve him first!
I ordered the chicken biryani. It was really good and different, and a little crispy. It was delicious! I loved the crispy onions on top and the raisins added a sweetness. It also came with chickpeas, which also contained onions and red peppers. Qatar Airways always has quality food!
I had a cognac and talked with my new friend for a while. They had all 23 MCU movies, but I went with Men In Black International and then slept for 7 hours. We were 2 hours from Doha. I had some coffee and paneer bhurji with rice and vegetables for breakfast. It was so fire! I also had orange juice and a Kit Kat bar.
I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth before we landed. The flight was perfect and had no turbulence. In the Doha airport, I wanted to get into the Business Class lounge. My buddy was able to bring a guest with him, so he took me! This was the second-best lounge there. It costs $69 for six hours there. It had a nice, open space and three areas where you can relax, eat, sleep, and do work. They have unlimited food and drinks. You can even take a shower!
I got some tabbouleh, hummus, and chicken salad. The chicken was minced and the vegetables were very refreshing. I love tabbouleh! I mixed it with the hummus, which was so good! I also had some great red wine with it. The service was amazing!
This was a longer layover at 4 hours. With 20 minutes until I had to board, I passed the famous teddy bear lamp to my gate. It was super humid in Qatar. I wished I was flying business class. It looked epic!
We flew on an Airbus A320 with a 3-3 configuration. This flight also had every MCU movie onboard! My new friend from Armenia had only seen one MCU film!
For dinner, I ordered lamb stew with mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots. The lamb was so buttery and creamy! The mashed potatoes were also really creamy and tasty. There was also a refreshing potato salad with onion and corn. I loved it! My friend let me try her dish, which was the Qatari version of biryani. It was amazing! I loved the spices and chicken!
Then, we landed in Armenia after a smooth, 3-hour flight. I grabbed my bags and met my driver. I went straight to an ATM and pulled out cash. It’s the best way to get the best exchange rate. I pulled out $200 worth of Armenian Dram, but I could use credit cards anywhere in the country.
As we drove to the hotel, we passed a huge bottle of wine by the road. I was super excited, but it was 1:30 in the morning. I couldn’t wait to start exploring tomorrow!
I hope you enjoyed flying Qatar Airways to Armenia with me and seeing the best Economy Class in the world! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave a comment below. Also, please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of my upcoming travel/food adventures!

ARMENIA TRAVEL: WHAT TO DO IN YEREVAN IN A DAY
4/10/19 - Yerevan, Armenia - We had a walk through Yerevan and discovered the Opera House and Concert Hall on our way back to the Cascades. From here we checked out all of the art and flew the drone to get some spectacular drone shots of Yerevan. We then went into the Arts Centre to see even more of the art that Yerevan has to offer before heading to the Armenian Genocide Museum (a must visit in Yerevan). We headed back to Cascades to see the sunset and got another delicious chocolate lava cake!
