These 38 films from the 1920's & 1930's often feature the Wright, Hawks, Parry & Slater families who were either close friends or related through marriage.
Though the quality is poor and there is no audio, you can just about hear the brass bands and shrieking children.
Some films show Edith Mary Hollway (born Tynemouth 1891) marrying William H Hawks over Easter 1926 in Brampton and a 1930 film goes on to show their son Freddie (Frederick W Hawks born June 1928).
Another film shows Agnes Cleghorn marrying William H Wright in Tynemouth sometime between April & June 1933 and they went on to have a son Peter who was born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1936. Some of their descendants are now raising their own families in California.
Edith A Wright (sister/cousin of William?) is marrying William G Slater in 1926
