Calgary and Banff | Alberta, Canada | Things to do | Travel Vlog
Watch this video to get an idea of what you can see/do when you are planning to go to Calgary or Banff.
I took a trip to Canada to visit family on March 22, 2019. We explored both Calgary and Banff in Alberta, Canada. Calgary and Banff are both beautiful places and have so many things to do that I was not able to show all they have to offer since I was only there for a few days. Next time I hope to visit more places in the area and beyond! Please leave a comment down below if you have some places you recommend for myself and other people who may be interested.
PS- I was surprised of the snow because when I arrived in Calgary it was hot and dry. I was told that the end of March was the end of snow, but it was awesome experience being able to see the snow in both Calgary and Banff.

A look at the Historic Town of Banff. I visited in mid-July.
Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometers of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.

Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada
Banff National Park and Jasper National Park in Canada are the most picturesque places on earth. Natural beauty and gorgeous views surround you along with gentle and active wildlife all around. Rivers, Lakes, Trails, Glaciers, Waterfalls, this place has it all. We had a great time visiting and would add to to the list of places to must visit. We had stayed in a trailer on the camp grounds to truly take in the experience.
Locations include: Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, and more.

Travel reminds those paying attention that they are not the only man in the world, that this is a huge world and that they are only a small, insignificant human in it. This is quite a leisure experience – to go to another country or another state and see large numbers of peoples living differently, and coming to understand how large the world actually is. When people who learn return home, they keep with them this perspective for the rest of their life and they benefit from this is knowledge and perspective.
Another benefit to traveling is coming to see one’s native country in a different light, in a different way. This is done through being able to compare and contrast home from a foreign location, done most always through traveling. A new perspective may be formed
24 Hour Travel VLOG - Lake Louise in Banff Alberta ft. THEA
While I was home (in Canada) during October, I decided to book a last minute trip to visit one of my best friends in Calgary, Alberta where she recently moved for school! It was so amazing to see her in her new world living her best life. She's 100% where she's meant to be and I cannot wait to see where her creative mind takes her next.
We also got to cross something off on my bucket list.. Lake Louise in Banff National Park!! It was beyond stunning. Pictures and videos will never do it justice. It's definitely something you need to experience in person.
So happy I got to spend 24 hours with this wild child. We both flew away from the nest and will be gone for a while... who knows when I'll see her next. I miss her giggles, her conspiracy theories, her energy, her everything. The trip may have cost and arm and a leg... but spending time with a gem like that is PRICELESS xoxo
Hope you enjoy! As always, let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!!
Stay tuned for another video soon!

The broad range of runs vary from family friendly green to the world-famous double-black Delirium Dive.
Its unique village location on the Continental Divide at 2,200 metres (7,200 feet) ensures Champagne powder conditions last until its legendary end-of-year party, the Slush Cup, on May 23, 2016.
We call it Canada’s Best Snow

Sunshine Meadows Banff Canada
The Sunshine Meadows are known by many as the most stunning alpine setting in the Canadian Rockies. Surrounded by some of the Rockies' highest peaks, the unobstructed views are beyond compare.
Sunshine Meadows in Banff National Park could easily be considered one of Alberta’s most scenic hikes—and the real beauty of it is that you don’t even have to work that hard to enjoy the million-dollar views. Located in the popular Sunshine Village ski resort, the trails open up as soon as the snow melts, revealing plenty of well-marked trails which wind past piercing blue lakes, fragrant meadows bursting with wildflowers and spectacular vantage points of the surrounding mountain ranges.
