Now Bhutan is not the absolute monarchy system. The constitutional monarchy countries. The total drop of blood sovereignty over the whole country nationals in the king without a shot. I think that people should maintain an independent state, thanks to the current dynasty, dynasty wangchuk. Pumge dynasty that young people from the countryside to admire the old woman and love beyond the king. (King 3 He), father of the country's modernization. Did you receive the most modern education. The memorial is hers for his mother and three Great. Jig-mail doreuji wangchuk. The top honor for the third king who died young in 1972 at the age of 44 stood right in this place, and was named to the National Monument. His name is engraved in the hearts of elderly people to remember him and keep this position are also entitled to receive per day. People are turning to manicha came to the memorial to pray for him to be remembered and lamented the tapdolyi. It rose to the throne in 1952, handing the land to the temple and nobles to peasants seized the monarch reform eliminated slavery. Never give up the monarchy and made public by the master of the country. Sikam Dynasty and Tibetan independence was consolidated affiliated with the United Nations in the midst disappear. His son inherited the father's move on reforms step by step practice. The fourth king. How I do sincerely respected the King any country in the world. It's a lovely day seureopgo admired. So minute that it respectable. Gunjujeong premise of Bhutan is a very different feeling. I was very impressed.

Exquisite Thimpu!
The capital and largest city of the kingdom of Bhutan…
Looks breathtaking from a birds eye view with the Royal Palace standing out….
The valley dotted with human establishments….the winding roads in the hills….the hilly breeze making the coniferous trees sway gleefully….
The Thimpu city extends in a north-south direction on the west bank of the valley formed by the Raidāk River, which is known as the Wang Chuu or Thimphu Chuu in Bhutan

The amusement of sightseeing matches very few things, actually. The excitement of exploring new parts of the world, knowing new faces, exchanging words with them…all overcome exhaustion..… as we explored Thimpu …new & newer dimensions of Bhutan were opening up…
The moment you enter Bhutan, you notice that there are no traffic lights. It is almost like you've stepped into a Shangri-La or a vortex of time 200 years ago. Those kinds of experiences are very much a part of Bhutan, where people are truly happy from within .

The most beautiful capital city of the world -Thimphu(Bhutan)
Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, occupies a valley in the country’s western interior. In addition to being the government seat, the city is known for its Buddhist sites. The massive Tashichho Dzong is a fortified monastery and government palace with gold-leaf roofs. The Memorial Chorten, a whitewashed structure with a gold spire, is a revered Buddhist shrine dedicated to Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

The city is spread out laterally in a north-south direction on the west bank of the valley formed by the Raidāk River, which is known as the Wang Chuu or Thimphu Chuu in Bhutan. Thimphu is the fourth highest capital in the world by altitude and is spread over an altitudinal range between 2,248 metres (7,375 feet) and 2,648 metres (8,688 feet).[3][4][5][6][7]Unusually for a capital city, Thimphu is not served by an airport, but relies on the Paro Airport connected by road some 54 kilometres (34 miles) away.
Thimphu, as the political and economic centerof Bhutan, has a dominant agricultural and livestock base, which contributes to 45% of the country's GNP.[8] Tourism, though a contributor to the economy, is strictly regulated, maintaining a balance between the traditional, development and modernization. Thimphu contains most of the important political buildings in Bhutan, including the National Assembly of the newly formed parliamentary democracy and Dechencholing Palace, the official residence of the King, located to the north of the city. As a metropolis and capital city, Thimphu is coordinated by the Thimphu Structure Plan, an Urban Development Plan which evolved in 1998 with the objective of protecting the fragile ecology of the valley. This development is ongoing with financial assistance from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
The Kingdom’s capital city is home to approximately 100,000 inhabitants including the Royal family. This bustling little city is the main centre of commerce, religion and government in the country. The juxtaposition of ancient tradition and modernity make Thimphu the ideal location for visitors to break away from their tour itinerary to immerse themselves in the contemporary Bhutanese lifestyle.
Thimphu is the most modern city in Bhutan with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs and shopping centres. However, it still retains its’ cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization. Thimphu is one of the few towns in Bhutan that have been equipped with ATM banking facilities and is a good place to stock up on some currency.
There are several attractions in Thimphu such as the National Post Office, the Clock Tower Square, the Motithang Takin Preserve, Tango and Chari Monasteries, Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Chorten, Centenary Farmer's Market, Semtokha Dzong to name a few. These form the most important tourist attractions in the capital city.
The culture of Bhutan is fully reflected in Thimphu in respect of religion, customs, national dress code, the monastic practices of the monasteries, music, dance, literature and the media. Tshechu is an important festival where mask dances, popularly known as Chams, are performed in the courtyards of the Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu. It is a four-day festival held every year during autumn (September/October), on dates corresponding to the Bhutanese calendar. One of the most curious features of Thimphu is that it is the only capital city in the world that does not use traffic lights. Instead, a few major intersections have policemen standing in elaborately decorated booths (small pavilions), directing traffic with exaggerated hand motions.

The yogi Jetsun Milarepa at Bhutan's Druk Wangyel Festival
The yogi Jetsun Milerapa levitates in thin air. The bare bodied performer withstood the icy temperature for more than 40 minutes.
The Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival started in the year 2011 and the festival takes place every year on December 13 at the Druk Wangyel Lhakhang’s Festival ground. The festival is related to important national landmarks while the date commemorates the commencement of the military expedition of 2003.
The Festival’s impressive modern Bhutanese monuments and both monuments were built as a tribute to the wise leadership of the Wangchuck dynasty in general, and the temple was built under the personal supervision of Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wanghuck, a year after she built the 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens. Druk Wangyel Lhakhang was consecrated in June 2008,the wise leadership of His Majesty the Fourth King in particular, the works on the powerful mural paintings, the temple took almost four years to build.
The Dochula pass is one of the most spectacular passes in Bhutan and is about 45 minutes’ drive (22km) from the capital city, Thimphu. The pass (3080) marks the watershed between the districts of Thimphu on the western side and Punakha on the eastern side. It presents a panoramic view of these districts and some others beyond them.

Tour to Bhutan with OUM.RU club
Bhutan is located high in the Himalayas. Once isolated from the rest of the world, this county is now unique. Many years of isolation have allowed the kingdom to preserve its identity - Buddhist traditions, unique architecture and pristine nature. Our club went on a journey to see this amazing country with our own eyes, visit the places of power and connect with its energy.

4 days in Bhutan
I love how the landscape gives the impression of vast space and intimacy at the same time: the thin brown line of a path wandering up an immense green mountainside, a plush hanging valley tucked between two steep hillsides, a village of three houses surrounded by dark forest, paddy fields flowing around an outcrop of rock, a white temple gleaming on a shadowy ridge. The human habitations nestle into the landscape; nothing is cut or cleared beyond what is requires. Nothing is bigger than necessary. Every sign of human settlement repeat the mantra of contentment: “This is just enough.”
