The show Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon commemorates the completion of 50 years of the legendary song 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon'. It was written by Kavi 'Pradeep', sung by Lata Mangeshkar and composed by C Ramchandra. It was first sung on January 27, 1963 in a charity show organised by the Film Fraternity, Ministry of Defence in New Delhi's National Stadium where 50,000 people enjoyed the event and Rs. 2 lac were raised for the defence fund. It is said that the song brought tears to the then Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

'Artistic Yoga' Guru Bharat Thakur Turns To Art
He went to his guru at the age of 4 to train in Yoga and absorb the many spiritual traditions that come with it to help him discover his true self. Millions across the globe now come to him to rid themselves of excess weight and other ailments mainly brought upon by a 'worldly' lifestyle. This is the success of Bharat Thakur. A yoga master with studios and teams all over the world, his Artistic Yoga style is one that focuses on strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, agility and coordination. It seems, however, that these ingredients have also opened up the artist in him.
Bharat has been painting without a brush for the 16 years using his bare hands, nails, feet and rollers to create abstract work which he has put up on display for the first time in all these years at a gallery in Bangalore. He chose the city as it was where he started his first yoga studio in 1999. I was not happy with the art I was creating. So I travelled the world, went to museums, sketched with street artists in Venice, but I stopped for sometime as I was not satisfied. It was when I was showing my son who calls me 'painter' how to paint, that something struck and I was amazed at what I created , says Bharat I sent the paintings to some critic's in England and Spain and they gave me the nod. Hence I felt a show was finally ready.
The show opened on 23rd November at the Gallery- Time And Space and many of Bharat's well wishers flew in to Bangalore for it. Of them, actors Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Rana Daggubati, Raveena Tandon, Nagarjuna and ex-Karnataka Chief Minister and former Prime Minister Dewe Gowda, were present to view the work. Inspired by nature, where Bharat says he has spent most of his life, the collection will soon move to other cities after Bangalore.

One of the most carried out activities include jet skiing and para gliding. For water sports enthusiasts this can be a disppointment as only some and not all water sports are carried out here. Yet some of these can be enjoyed here at reasonable prices which are costly at other beaches.
Anjuna is also a place known for its small rocks by sea side. People staying in nearby hotels often walk up to the sea and sit here in morning hours to look at the rising Sun and sip local tea/coffe. It is also a good time to take some exclusive pics.
Yoga, Reiki, Ayurvedic massages are something which forgieners as well as Indians love to do. Brahamani and Oceanic are two locally popular names for these practices. One can join daily – basis or weekly sessions for these.
Eating, drinking and meri-making are some of the things which everyone comes here for. Enjoy at some of the well – known names like Banyan Soul, Cafe Diogo, Whole Bean Tofu or Casa Anjuna. For those who love nightlife Sea Bar is a good place to be in.
