On Monday, Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Born in Ara, Bihar, he is a playback singer and film actor.His first album was Odhaniya Wali, dated 1997, followed by Kaanch Kasailli from 2005. Reportedly, Singh played his first lead role together with Raj Kumar in the 2007 film Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam.
