March was probably a little too early in the year for it! Bhutan is an incredible country, highly recommend a visit.

The river Wangchu and its many tributaries flowing along the Thimphu valley make it a perfect habitat for plants and animals. Take a walk along ancient trails and explore diversified ecosystems with rare bird and animal species. The temperate evergreen forests of Oak, Bamboo and Pine along Tango and Cheri, and the mixed cool evergreen broad-leaf forest of Dochula Pass boast perfect bird watching spots; this region is the natural habitat of exotic birds such as the Fire-tailed Myzornis, Red-tailed Minla, Mrs. Gould's Sunbird, Green-tailed sunbird and the Yellow-rumped honey guide - a bird that is globally threatened but easily sighted in Bhutan.

3. Dance of the Rakshas and the Judgement (Raksha Mangcham)
Raksha Mangcham or the Dance of the Judgement of the Dead is based on the Bardo Thaydrel (Book of the Dead), a text hidden by Guru Rimpoche and rediscovered later by Terton Karma Lingpa in the 14th century.
