BHUTESWAR MAHADEV भूतेश्वर महादेव गरियाबंदगरियाबंद(छत्तीसगढ़)। रायपुर से 90 किमी दूर और गरियाबंद जिला मुख्यालय से 3 किमी दूर ग्राम मरौदा में पहाड़ियों के बीच स्थित भूतेश्वर महादेव शिवलिंग छत्तीसगढ़ का सबसे बड़ा माना जाता है। यह जमीन से लगभग 85 फीट ऊंचा व 105 फीट गोलाकार है। गांव के लोग बताते हैं कि पहले यह टीला छोटे रूप में था। धीरे-धीरे इसकी ऊंचाई एवं गोलाई बढ़ती जा रही है।
यह भी किंवदंती हैं कि इनकी पूजा छुरा नरेश बिंद्रनवागढ़ के पूर्वजों द्वारा की जाती रही हैं। बताया जाता है कि शिवलिंग पर एक हल्की सी दरार भी है, जिसके कारण लोग इसे अर्धनारीश्वर का स्वरूप भी मानते हैं।
राजधानी से दूरी- 90 किमी
आकार - 85 फीट ऊंचा व 105 फीट गोलाकार।
मान्यता - श्रध्दालुओं का मानना है कि शिवलिंग प्रतिवर्ष लगभग 6 से 8 इंच बढ़ता है।

The world's largest Shivalinga given by the nature sparkling in the region surrounded by picturesque forests and hills. छत्तीसगढ़ के गरियाबंद जिले में मरौदा गांव है। वहां के घने वन के मध्य एक शिवलिंग प्राकृतिक रूप से निर्मित है। जिसे भूतेश्वर नाथ के नाम से जाना जाता है। इसे संसार का सबसे बड़ा शिवलिंग मानते हैं।
इससे संबंधित अद्भुत रहस्य है कि प्रत्येक वर्ष इस शिवलिंग का आकार बढ़ जाता है, जो श्रद्धालुओं के लिए आज भी रहस्य बना हुआ है। प्रत्येक वर्ष सावन महीने में पड़ने वाले सोमवार को इस शिवलिंग के दर्शनों हेतु और जल अर्पित करने के लिए सैकड़ों भक्त पैदल यात्रा करके यहां पहुंचते हैं।

गरियाबंद : छत्तीसगढ़ के गरियाबंद जिले के मरौदा गांव में घने जंगलों बीच एक प्राकृतिक शिवलिंग जो भूतेश्वर नाथ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है यह विश्व का सबसे बड़ा प्राकृतिक शिवलिंग है मरौदा गांव में स्थित इस शिवलिंग की सबसे बड़ी आश्चर्य की बात यह है की ये अपने आप बढ़ता जा रहा है। यह जमीन से लगभग 70 फीट उंचा एवं 220 फीट गोलाकार है।
राजस्व विभाग द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष इसकी उचांई नापी जाती है जो लगातार 6 से 8 इंच बढ़ रही है इस शिवलिंग के बारे में बताया जाता है कि आज से सैकड़ो वर्ष पूर्व यहां पर खेती - बाडी के साथ घने जंगल थे, शाम को यहाँ खेत के पास एक विशेष आकृति नुमा टीले से सांड के चिल्लानें एवं शेर के दहाडनें की आवाज आती थी।
ग्रामवासी सांड और शेर की आसपास खोज करने लगे लेकिन दूर दूर तक किसी जानवर के नहीं मिलने पर इस टीले को लोगो ने विशेष महत्व देना प्रारंभ कर दिया और लोग इस टीले को शिवलिंग के रूप में मानने लगे।
बताया जाता है कि इस टीले से नंदी की आवाज आने से भूतेश्वर को भकुर्रा महादेव के नाम से जाना जाने लगा. इस बारे में गावं के लोग बताते है कि पहले यह टीला छोटे रूप में था। धीरे धीरे इसकी उचाई एवं गोलाई बढती गई। जो आज भी जारी है। यहीं स्थान भुतेश्वरनाथ, भकुरा महादेव के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
