Lord Bhuvaraha's consort is Ambujavalli Thayar while the temple icon is formed naturally from a saligarama (black smooth round stone). The utsavamurthy does not resemble a wild boar in accordance with the desires of his celestial consort and is called 'Yagna Varahan'.[clarification needed] This is the only place where all deities are Varaha Murtis.

Bhuvarahar Temple Srimushnamm
Srimushnam, a small village near Virudachalam is one of the avatara sthalams of Maha Vishnu. It is widely believed Maha Vishnu took his third of his ten avatars here as Varaha Rupam. Unlike the other Vishnu Temples, the main deity is a small one and considered to be a Swayambu (self made). The main deity is called Sri Bhu Varahar and the Goddess is Ambujavalli Thayar. Maha Vishnu took to Varaha Rupam to kill Hiranyaksha, who stole Bhudevi. The deity faces towards south while the body faces towards west. The body is in human form. The temple built by Nayak dynasty and the architecture and the sculptures resembles their style. The temple has number of beautiful sculptures. Apart from Sannadhi for the main deity and the thayar, separate Sannadhi for Andal, Ramanujar, Senai Mudaliyar, Desikan, Venugopal and Kuzhanthai Amman Sannadhys are also there. A separate Sannadhi for Pattabiramar is outside the temple. Rama, Lakshanmana, Bhartha and Shatrugana with Hanuman and Sakarathazhwar adore the Sannadhi. There is a beautiful big tank and a huge Peepal tree on the eastern of the temple.

Sri Varaha Swamy Vaibhavam (Special)
#Varaha #Vaibhavam #SriMushnam
The Grace of Shri Bhoo Varaha Swamy and the avatara Vaibhavam are presented in this video in English.
The Avatara Stala Vaibhabam of Sri Mushnam and Baraha Shektra (Nepal) being highlighted.
‘Sri Varaha’ form is the vital force traceable in the
preamble of the ‘constitution of Earthly life and beings’. All other arrivals were secondary; as ‘settlement of the abode and residents’ forms the ‘foundation for flourishing of life’, after which other forms arrived for ‘correction, elevation and liberation’ purposes.
Varaha is worshipped as ‘Lord of ores, minerals, fossil fuels and gems’, ‘God of soil, agriculture and forest-wealth’, ‘bestower of properties like house, land and estates’, ‘promoter of real-estate business’, ‘deliverer of huge hidden treasures and rescuer of missed fortunes and properties’, ‘source of grace for ‘administrative posts, election-success, rulership and war-victories’, ‘regaining lost kingdoms and power’ and ‘retaining of sovereignty’. In all the ways, Sri Varaha, the first and absolute ruler of the universe, should be duly honored by our ‘offering, obedience, and obeisances’.
In the mature spiritual sense, Varaha is the final form and as life-giver and father of all denizens (as Earth is the mother), every second of our life should be filled with remembrance, love, gratitude and service to His lotus feet.
