Bibbulmun Track thru-hike in Western Australia - Oct-Nov 2013
My 2013 Thru-hike of the 1000 km Bibbulmun track, just to give you an overview of what it looks like through the various sections. This was shot for personal use, but there was enough interest in the walk and video to put it online. It still needs music and narration. Note: at the time the track was believed to be around 966 km, as shown at the half-way mark, but this has been updated with a recent measurement coming in at just over 1000km.

The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia.
HIKING | The Bibbulmun Track - Albany to Denmark, WA
In this video Danya and I spend Easter long weekend, hiking our first section of the famous Bibbulmun Track. A walking track that spans 1000 km from Albany in South West Australia, to Kalamunda near Perth, Western Australia. We start our journey in Albany and hike 100 km over 5 days to the small town of Denmark.

Join us as the adventure continues down the iconic 1000km journey down the Bibbulmun Track. Episode 7 begins at the Hills Discovery Centre and takes us on a 3 day hike through the stunning bush around the Helena Reservoir and up to Mount Dale. Visiting the burnt remains of the Helena Campsite as we bush walk the eastern side of the Helena valley water catchment area. Staying at Waalegh and Beraking campsite we are rewarded with scenic views before making to to Dale Rd to complete our adventure.

A video I made of my first ever overnight hike. I walked all up 18km of the Bibbulmun Track from the Perth Hills Discovery Centre to the Northern Terminus, staying overnight at the awesome Hewetts Hill campsite. Such a great experience! Lauren :)
