Bicentennial Park Sydney Olympic Park
Bicenteeial Park is quite large and best covered with bikes or scooters. The pathway is great for walking, jogging or cycling and winds through the whole park, Covering mangroves, Lake Belvedere, wetlands and sculptures, peace monument and sundial. There are toilets, free barbeques and plenty of space to picnic. There is a cafe and ample parking. The sail shaded playground is great for the kids and next to open field.

Sydney Olympic Park is a large sports and entertainment complex in the West of Sydney. It is also an official suburb of Sydney, commonly known as Olympic Park but officially named Sydney Olympic Park. Sydney Olympic Park is located 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Parramatta Council.
The area was redeveloped for the 2000 Olympics. The facilities built continue to be used for sporting, musical, and cultural events, including the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Festival, Stereosonic, Big Day Out, Soundwave, Sydney 500 and a number of world-class sporting fixtures. The suburb also contains commercial development and extensive parklands. The area was originally part of the suburb of Homebush Bay but was designated a suburb in its own right in 2009. The name Homebush is still used colloquially as a metonym for Stadium Australia as well as the Olympic Park precinct as a whole

The Bicentennial Park in western Sydney is one of the best bird watching spots in Sydney. Part of the Sydney Olympic Park, it lies on the shore of Homebush Bay and comprises 40 hectares of mangroves, woodland and grassy lawns.
The numerous ponds and creeks in the park provide habitat for an impressive array of waterbird species and the forested areas are home to an equally impressive variety of forest birds. The park is easy to explore and doesn’t get crowded even on weekends.
