How to have a funky weekend in Pittsburgh
Looking for a fun weekend trip? This video shows why you should consider Pittsburgh. As you’ll see, so many spots here will blow away what people might expect of this city.
Take Randyland, for example, where you can reimagine what a neighborhood looks like through a collection of found art. Then there’s the contemporary art at the Mattress Factory. Or how about the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, a paddle trail along the Allegheny River you can access right from downtown? There are so many surprising places, like the feminist makerspace, Prototype, or Church Brew Works, a beautiful church fittingly repurposed as a brewery.
If you want a fun weekend, don’t be afraid to hit up Pittsburgh. Just make sure to bring your A game when it’s time to bowl.

5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Pittsburgh, United States
On the north-western Allegheny Plateau, at the point where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers join to form the Ohio, lies the city of Pittsburgh, surrounded by the wooded hills of the western Appalachians.
The wealth of the city came from these hills: the coal mined here was the basis of a great steel industry which at one time produced half the total requirements of the United States. However, Pittsburgh is no longer the soot-encrusted coal and steel town of the past, but rather a metropolis with fine parks and gardens flanking the rivers and a modern city centre with established cultural institutions such as the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Opera. Let's see five tourist attractions in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
1. Phipps Conservatory
2. Carnegie Museum of Art
3. Carnegie Science Center
4. Andy Warhol Museum
5. Frick Art and Historical Center

In this video I share the highlights of my Pittsburgh trip!
I made this Pittsburgh travel video after I spent a few hours exploring the Steel City. I only had a few hours to explore and walk around but I definitely want to head back and check out some more of what the City of Bridges has to offer.
Apart from the lovely Point State Park and the modern business district I was able to enjoy some delicious Mexican food and there were so many quirky little cafes that I couldn't even decide which one to choose!
Being from Ontario, Pennsylvania was quite surprising to me in regards to how nice it was and it's easy to see why Pittsburgh tourism is on the rise. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, super helpful and I could definitely see that the people of Pittsburgh were very proud of the city they lived in!
Some of the specific destinations in this video include:
Point State Park
The Downtown Business District of Pittsburgh
The Cog Railway
Duquesne Lookout City View

1-25-2019 Connellsville, PA from the Youghiogheny River Bike Trail N., Geese, & x-country skiing
After work on January 25, 2019, I decided to cross country ski on the Youghiogheny River Trail (part of the Great Allegheny Passage), which connects Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Maryland. There the C & O Canal Trail begins and goes to Washington DC. This night, I wasn't sure if there would be enough snow to ski on. I looked around, discovered lots of interesting art, and a gaggle of aggressive geese that appeared suddenly in a park (I had passed just before). I heard them fly away just after passing the park a 3rd time to begin the cross country skiing. I skiied about 5 miles, but since I had to film with my phone, and it was dark or getting dark then entire time I skiied North and Back (5 miles total), most of the movie is before the actual skiing. The sunsets on the Youghiogheny River are always so serene and beautiful, especially in winter. The temperature ranged from 25 degrees to 19 degrees Farinheit (-4 to -8C )

Rare Mystery coke ovens Allegheny County Pittsburgh PA
Only known coke oven ruins in allegheny county. Located off 5th Ave N Versailles/East Mckeesport these only come out when the leaves drop. Do not know their history, but very few coke oven operations existed in Allegheny county. Ironically, the main modern coke operations are in fact in Clairton, Allegheny county!
