Clifton Park in Rotherham
Clifton Park was once the home to the Walker Family. Living in the building which today houses the museum*, the council bought the land and opened it up in 1893.
Rides first appeared in Clifton Park in the 1950's. The park has never had anything on a large scale, but the handful of rides are very popular in the local area.
Clifton Park rides operate on a token based system with 1 token required to ride each ride, except for the Dodgems which requires 2 tokens per car. Tokens are priced at 70p each, 11 for £7, 23 for £14 and 48 for £28, so the more you buy, the more you save.
*Clifton Park Museum is a medium-sized municipal museum situated in Clifton House on the western edge of Clifton Park in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. It is one of several publicly owned museums and visitor attractions administered by the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham and is the headquarters of the Museums, Galleries and Heritage Service.

ENGLAND VS GERMANY 2-1: Goals and highlights U18s international
England U18s pulled off a remarkable victory over a highly rated Germany side, coming from behind to win in Rotherham.
Neil Dewsnip's side dominated the first half but suffered the consequences of a rare lapse when Patrick Pflucke stole in to score from close range.
But two second-half substitutes, Dean Rittenberg - with his first touch - and Harry Winks, delivered the goals to send a 9,119 crowd into rapture.
New York is such a great city that they named it twice, but Rotherham's New York Stadium might just be half as good, and looked resplendent in the springtime sunshine ahead of kick-off.
It took its name from Rotherham's old Guest and Chrimes Foundry, which made the distinctive fire hydrants dotted around the Big Apple.
Dewsnip set up his side with a strong core, building on the speed and reliability of MK Dons's Brendan Galloway and Reading's Robert Dickie at centre-half, with Alex Gilliead and skipper Bryn Morris providing the steel in midfield.
The Young Lions head coach fielded Tottenham's Nathan Oduwa, normally a powerfully built and skilful winger, behind target man Bradley Fewster. And Oduwa carried the main threat, shifting the ball from foot to foot and possessing the strength to drift clear of his markers.
Nevertheless the match started quietly, even if the play was crisp and easy on the eye, and it was not until the 15th minute when the first shot was fired.
Oduwa slipped his man and teed up Ryan Kent, who had drifted in off the right wing. Kent's shot was well-placed but Marius Funk saved easily.
Minutes later Arlen Birch did well to intercept a Germany pass and broke through free down the right flank. The Everton right-back's cross was well-directed but too firm for Fewster, who could only bundle the ball into Funk's grasp.
England came close to hitting back almost immediately after, with Birch picking out Kent with a chipped through-ball, and Oduwa bringing down a crisp pass into the centre. He made space to shoot but fired over the stanchion from 15 yards out.
The home side looked to be meandering through the second half when on 74 minutes Dewsnip made the changes that turned the game.
Rittenberg came on for Branden Barker on the left flank and Reece Burke replaced Birch.
The Blackburn man dashed in from the left flank left his marker for dead, flicking his header into the far corner.
He then laid on the second, crossing for Winks. The substitute shot firmly enough, and a desperate block served only to deflect the ball past Funk.
Fewster then came close to adding a third, as England rounded off their U18 campaign with an outstanding victory.

Manchester City youngster Phil Foden celebrates scoring in win over Rotherham with tr ip to Five
Manchester City youngster Phil Foden celebrates scoring in win over Rotherham with trip to Five Guys. Manchester City's convincing 7-0 win over Rotherham in the FA Cup on Sunday was certainly cause for celebration.
While some might have ventured out for lavish meals on Monday, 18-year-old Phil Foden made a dash to the Trafford Centre.
The playmaker, who scored in the third-round victory, opted for the fast-food chain Five Guys and was pictured mulling over which burger-and-fries combo to choose from.
And he could potentially have bigger decisions than that to make in the near future. While he was making his way to the Trafford Centre, his former team-mate Brahim Diaz was being unveiled as a £22million Real Madrid signing at the Bernabeu.
Diaz followed the path of Jadon Sancho, who is now pulling up trees at Borussia Dortmund and has gained international recognition after being called up to Gareth Southgate's England squad.
Foden, meanwhile, has played just 91 minutes of Premier League football this season — he has the likes of Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne in front of him — and has a fight on his hands to gain a regular first-team spot.
Appearances: 16
Goals: 2
Assists: 2
Bookings: 1
But the midfielder, who signed a new six-year contract last month, has no interest in taking the same route as Diaz and is determined to establish himself at the Etihad.
'It's up to them really,' he said. 'They have gone their separate ways and everyone has their own plan in what they want to do, so fair play to them.
'Everyone is different, and I see myself playing here. It's up to them, really. It shows the strength of the squad we have here, how good the players are. It is difficult to get in, but we all try our best.
'I just need to keep pushing, do my best in the games and take opportunities when they come.
'We've got the best set of players and the best staff so I'm in the right position. I'm learning off them every day, so I couldn't be in a better place.
'It's brilliant to play alongside players like Kevin De Bruyne. You just learn from the best.'

Phil Foden on why he won't be taking the same path as Diaz and Sancho
Phil Foden says he won’t be taking the same path as Jadon Sancho and Brahim Diaz to secure more first team games. The Manchester City starlet scored his first goal at the Etihad Stadium as the Blues battered Rotherham 7-0 in the FA Cup third round. But on the same day, his close friend and former youth teammate Brahim Diaz was announced as a Real Madrid player. Foden and Diaz grew through the City youth ranks together, and the Spaniard’s £15.5m move to the Bernabeu comes 18 months after the other part of that academy trio, Jadon Sancho left to join Borussia Dortmund. That led to fears among City fans that their best academy prospects were all leaving due to lack of first-team opportunities. Foden calmed some of that anxiety by signing a new five-year deal last month, but he reinforced it by telling M.E.N. Sport that he is going nowhere. “They have gone their separate ways, and everyone has their own plan, in what they want to do, so fair play to them,” said Foden. “Everyone is different, and I see myself playing here. It’s up to them, really. “I’m sad to see Brahim go but he wants opportunities, so good luck to him. “He will do well, I know it. I grew up with him and know his qualities, so I know he’ll do well. “Maybe one day I’ll face him in the Champions League. “It shows the strength of the squad we have here, how good the players are – it is difficult to get in, but we all try our best.” City believe that Foden is a different kettle of fish to both Sancho and Brahim. England international Sancho only joined the City academy from Watford as a 15-year-old, so was not steeped in the club in the same way as Foden, who is from Stockport and has been a Blue since he was eight years old. Diaz also arrived at City as a 16-year-old after coming through the Malaga academy, and the lure of Madrid proved too much for a Spanish boy. Sancho and Diaz could also both see their path into the first team blocked by top-class young players Leroy Sane, who turns 23 on Friday, and 24-year-old Raheem Sterling. Foden is looking at it differently, as the man standing in his way, David Silva, is also world-class but is 33 years old. The plan is to gradually wind down Silva’s City career over the next couple of seasons, and gradually increase Foden’s participation. And the teenager is not in a mad rush – he has placed his faith in Guardiola, and knows that he is still developing all aspects of his game. “I just need to keep pushing, do my best in the games and take opportunities when they come,” he said. “We’ve got the best set of players and the best staff so I’m in the right position. I’m learning off them every day, so I couldn’t be in a better place.” Read today's top Man City stories
