Trip to Akashi Bridge, Japan (明石大橋への旅)
Yesterday we visited again Akashi Bridge (明石大橋) and the adjacent beach. I think this becomes our favorite place for weekend walks. On the beach there was a lot of stone throwing, crabs and sea snails collecting. I think the kids enjoy it at all.
The water is still too cold for swimming but I think it is a meter of weeks before it become possible. If you are leaving in Hyogo (兵庫県) area and especially close to Kobe (神戸市) this is one of the best places for weekend trips at any time of the year but most so during the hot summer days as the temperature here almost always is somewhat lower and there is a cool wind! Well one night during Far East Drama some of the schools went either to American Villiage or Kadena's huge exchange. We went to American Villiage and as we were finishing up we decided to go on the ferris wheel!
