The Coral Coast is situated on the south-eastern (windward) side of Fiji's Viti Levu island, about 2 hours' drive from Nadi International Airport. The area is renowned for consistent Trade Winds throughout July-September and offers a multitude of surf breaks ideal for both surfing and kiting. Ben has been fishing, surfing and kiting along the Coral Coast for over 15 years and first went to Matanivusi a couple of years ago after becoming intrigued by the area's potential as a kite destination.

Matanivusi offers world-class kitesurfing downwinders, surf-kiting, flat-water kiting and surfing all set amid beautiful rainforest accommodation. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture and spend your days on the water. Epic downwinders and reef breaks including Frigates and Fijian Pipe surround the area and cater to a varying levels of experience. Depending on wind direction and swell, Ben runs downwinders from Bird Island (pictured) to the resort, Pipe Beach to Fijian Pipe, Bird Island to Frigates, Up Rising to Matanivusi, Matanivusi to Mango Bay and many more. There are huge areas of incredible kiting and so much to see in this part of Fiji. When there's no wind there's great surf at Frigates, Pipe, Shifties, J’s and Vunaniu which provide an excellent mix of lefts and rights.

FIJI Coral Coast vlog #4 | Beachouse

Nový vlog 4 z Fiji tentokrát o jóge, výlete na nepoškvrnený ostrov Yanuca, kde sme sa cítili ako stroskotanci a preflákali celý deň. Ďalej o dedinke Namatakule kde sme sa nahodne zatúlali až ku miestnym do obývačky a oni nás ochotne pohostili jedlom, užili sme si aj ochutnávku kava kava, co je ich národný drink, konkrétne výťažok z rastlinky Piper methysticum, ktorá ma halucinogénne a sedatívne účinky.

New vlog 4 Fiji is about yoga, trip to the pure island Yanuca, where we felt like castaways and enjoying all the day there.... later we visited village Namatakule, we just asked locals for direction but they let us in their livingroom served us some food and become part of family, also we tried national drink kava kava, which is root of plant Piper methysticum...and it have mild hallucinogenic and sedative effects...at the end we enjoyed good and unforgettable moments at Beachouse in Coral coast.
