Currency
Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Time Difference
During the winter months, Britain is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and 10 hours behind Sydney. Western standard time is five hours behind.
From late March until late October, the clocks go forward one hour to British Summer Time (BST).
To check the correct time, contact the Speaking Clock service by dialling 123.
Weight And Measurements
Britain is officially metric, in line with the rest of Europe. However, imperial measures are still in use, especially for road distances, which are measured in miles. Imperial pints and gallons are 20 per cent larger than US measures.

1 inch = 2.5 centimetres
1 foot = 30 centimetres
1 mile = 1.6 kilometres
1 ounce = 28 grams
1 pound = 454 grams
1 pint = 0.6 litres

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
Anyone that has any questions, please feel free the comment below and I will answer them for you.
You can dial 999 to reach either the police, fire and ambulance departments.

Hoar Park Farm in Ansley, Nuneaton, Warwickshire | Kids Day Out at the Farm Learning about Animals
This video see's us at Hoar Park Farm in Ansley, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
There's lots of animals at this farm for kids to see and feed too! They offer feed for a cheap price which is nice and there are two types of feed to suit animals. They also have in the indoor area which you will see animals which children can stroke, don't worry there's a member of staff there for the welfare of the animals which is good to see.
We found that this venue has plenty of parking, it also has an antiques store and a cafe with an outdoor children's playground so there's plenty to do there.
ToddlerStation is a YouTube channel designed to provide learning, fun and enjoyment for children. It will keep them occupied and they'll learn without even noticing!

Pig Gate - dual function
Dual function is MOST beneficial. Can lock pig inside easily, herd other pigs in or out, even pass cattle thru paddock into lower one. Even taking tractor in without letting pig(s) out. Very nice also for loading in or out. Lock pigs in, ease desired pigs in or out without having everyone running amok. Hadn't planned in this feature, but realized it as working pigs. Had added a 2 ft mini wall to corner of shed, so I could close pigs in with shorted gate. But they were wanting to rub on/play with (aka destroy) that. So then I changed out gate to 10 footer. Overlaps entrance post but only need it to open inward, so no matter.
