William Shatner Wins Horse Race After Getting Thrown From Buggy
It was a frightening moment for William Shatner, as a horse got spooked and threw him from a buggy Wednesday. The actor hit the ground hard, falling face-first into the dirt as he was competing in a horse and buggy show at the Mercer County Fair and Horse Show in Harrodsburg, KY. The 'Star Trek' legend walked away from the accident and even went on to win the competition. At 86, Shatner is an avid equestrian and recently spoke to Inside Edition about his book, 'Spirit of the Horse'.
