The Big Rush Urban Adrenaline! World's Tallest Swing - Durban, South Africa 2012
Whilst on some down time in Durban I popped into the Moses Mabhida Stadium. It's awesome - these guys have built a massive swing that hangs from the roof over the centre if the stadium!
After a few minutes getting familiarised with the kit and jumping procedures we had to scale the stadium from the outside. This is when you realise how high up you are.
When you step off its a 60 metre free fall where you quickly accelerate to over 120kph and then swing in a huge arc over the football pitch.

This is the world's only stadium swing and the largest swing of any kind anywhere. You jump into the void 106 meters above the world cup football stadium and swing out in a huge 220 meter arc under the iconic arch.

I tried out the biggest swing in the world, the Moses Mabhida Big Rush in Durban South Africa. Not only is it the world's tallest swing, it's in one of the world's most beautiful stadiums, with the stunning Durban Golden Mile in the background. This is a must do activity when visiting Durban.
The Big Rush team from Urban Adrenaline holds the Guinness World Record for the Worlds Tallest Swing.
