The Beaver Valley is one of Ontario's most spectacular natural features. The area provides four seasons relaxation, excitement, recreation and tourism facilities in unspoiled countryside.
If you've never stood at the top of a waterfall, for a droplet-eye view down the gorge, Eugenia Falls will take your breath away. Plunging into Cuckoo Valley, the Beaver River drops 30 metres over the Niagara Escarpment. One of the highest in Eastern Canada, this waterfall was the site of an early hydroelectric power station.
Nestled at the foot of the slopes, the Village is the lively centre of the Blue Mountain Resort where there is always something happening! Lounge beside the fire pit and enjoy buskers, concerts and a host of winter events. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, stroll down the cobblestone streets visiting unique shops, or stop into one of the many restaurants for a gourmet meal or quick treat.
With Grey County being nestled amongst the Niagara Escarpment and along Georgian Bay, naturally there are many spectacular Panoramic Vistas to capture here.
My Last Bow fishing Of 2019 in Ontario
The last weekend in July is usually hot on Ontario. Probably spending the hot weekend in marsh and dancing with mosquito are the last things you want to do, unless you want to go bowfishing.
Just one carp, but I am happy with that.

Nottawasaga River at Hockley Valley Provincial Park
This is the Nottawasaga River along the Bruce Trail in Hockley Valley Pronvincial Park, near Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. You would think it was January but the clips were taken on March 26, 2014.
This is a little different from my normal productions. I was going for a relaxing, meditation type video with just the sounds of nature. Let me know what you think...
Be sure to check back in June and July when the unbearable heat arrives!
Grand River Luther Marsh Headwaters, Dufferin County Canada
Luther Marsh is a major headwater source for the Grand River. Threatened with farmland drainage in the 1940's, a 1952 GRCA dam stabilized the river's flow. Grand River Kolb Park Spring, Kitchener Ontario
Pennsylvania-German Jacob Kolb settled beside the Breslau ford in 1829. This site became a gravel source from 1983-1989. The pits were rehabilitated as ponds fed by Kolb Creek near its confluence with the Grand River. This slide show presents images of the return of spring at Kolb Park on the Grand River and features colourful close-ups of tree buds in full flower, along with beaver and Canada geese. Legend by Niels Eje provides an evocative and subtle instrumental accompaniment.
