VIP Eagle Flying Experience (24/11/2018) | TheWorldOfCaz

This was my 2nd ever eagle flying experience with Thirsk Birds Of Prey Centre (Falconry UK), and I loved every second of it!

I decided to use my brand new action camera, (Victure 4K Wi-Fi) to film throughout the day, and I’m happy to say that I’m very impressed with the video quality.

On the 21st August, my sister Emma and I visited the English School of Falconry in Bedford, UK.

I'll be honest, I don't usually like to visit any places that use animals as the main 'attraction', however, after hearing some of the rescue stories about some of the birds and how they ended up at the centre, it made me thankful that there are such dedicated and hardworking people out there who put so much time and effort into rescuing and helping these poor birds.

The staff at the English School of Falconry clearly have a true love for birds and their wellbeing, so thank you to all of them for educating myself and many others on your wonderful experience days.

PS. Before you ask, all these opinions are my own and my sister paid for my ticket here...I just really like animals and the people who look after them :)

Titch the owl

On a recent visit to the British Falconry Centre in Bedfordshire, I was able to handle and fly a variety of owls and raptors. I was lucky enough to get some close up footage of Titch the owl.

Unfortunately I found it difficult to see the bird and managed to lose it half way through.

Falconry: Lakeland Birds of Prey Centre

In Sept 2013 we visited the Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre and saw the falconry demonstration. This video is some of the video clips. It starts with me feeding Douglas the Harris Hawk and then there are clips of a Gyrfalcon (Lefty), Eagle Owl (Otto) and Falcon (Douglas). There was also other birds at the centre including a bald headed eagle, sorry no clips of those ones. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend a visit.

I have to give a massive thank you to my brother for the video clips (didn't record properly on my phone). Much love to you xx

As a quick introduction to me, I am an Artist with the solid engineering background.
When I'm asked if I can make something I almost always say yes. Because as an Artist and Engineer, I know that anything is possible.

The work I do is made by myself. I make things, it's as if I can't stop myself. Using stainless steel to make up my structures & taking some inspiration from a passage of text. A song, poem, a word of kindness or bitter words in haste; all which can harness intense emotion and leave the scars of pain or the warmth of Love.

In 2013 I was commissioned by Wilstead Parish Council to generate a sculpture using the subject of our farming History using Section 106 funding. Interviews with some prominent people gave me a body of text on this topic. This text is replicated in the form of a man guiding a horse drawn Scuffle or Hoe.

The hollow section of the landworker (Hossman) is going to be back pored with concrete.

The text :

The names are the largest lettering 100mm
The interview text is 60mm and 40mm (40mm text for finer detail parts of the body).
