Our first snow experience in Japan! It's winter time in Japan during early of the year. Located in Shiga Prefecture, about 1 hour away from Kyoto, the Biwako Valley Ski Resort offers a great place to have fun in the snow (there are skiing & snowboarding as well), which is also suitable for a wonderful family outing! Besides sliding down the snow hill, Sue finally build a snowman with the help of Puri! (took us about 1hr+ to build that haha!).

In this video I fly to Japan and explore Lake Biwa, the Biwako Valley, and also give some information about the Japanese religion including Buddhism and Shintoism. I also play golf on a famous golf course and eat a popular Japanese dish called Shabu Shabu.

Our best days in Japan!
We had our first snow experience in Biwako Valley (one of the ski resorts in the Kansai Region) and squeezed in as much sites as we can in Kyoto in one day! Too much to see with so little time! T_T
From Kyoto, we raced against the sunset to get a glimpse of the free-roaming deers of Nara Park. Such as blessing to have experienced the beauty of Japan.

We visited the newly opened Biwako Terrace at Biwako Valley on Mt Horai in Otsu, Shiga. It's known as a ski resort but we wanted to see what it's like in spring. The view from the mountain was spectacular. It was great to see the view of Lake Biwa from the top. There were also seats at Cafe 360 I wanted to check out. The whole experience didn't disappoint.
