Diving Turks and Caicos off the Northwest point of Provo. Eel Gargen and Amphitheater were the sites. Saw quite a few sharks (black tip and gray reef sharks).

Shot with a gopro 960 and eyeofmine housing.

Water temp was 76 degrees, 100 ft was the depth.

Grand Turk - Sea Creatures and Land Beasts!

Grand Turk in The Turks and Caicos Islands is a small but vibrant Caribbean island. This video shows both under the sea from a glass-bottom boat and the land from a tour on the island’s main road. We see turtles, rays and fish from the boat and donkeys and flamingos on the land. Many cruise ships go to Grand Turk, and we visited on Carnival Cruise Lines.

Turks and Caicos - First Dive at Cathedral on July 5, 2013

First dive of the day, scuba diving at Cathedral in Grace Bay of Turks and Caicos. Video includes: Blue Tang (00:16), Caribbean Spiny Lobster (00:36), Queen Parrotfish (Terminal Phase, 00:43), Feather Duster Worm (01:01), School of Blue Chromis (01:16), Caribbean Reef Shark (01:57), Yellow Tube Sponge (02:58), Fairy Basslet (03:15), Common Sea Fan (04:28), Baby Caribbean Reef Shark (06:03), Stoplight Parrotfish (Initial Phase, 06:59), Great Barracuda (07:28), Black Durgon (07:52), and Yellowtail Snapper (08:08).

Total dive time was 39 minutes, with a maximum depth of 75 feet.

Grand Turk Semi-Submarine Excursion (4-16-14)

We took a Carnival Cruise from Baltimore and arrived at Grand Turk on April 16, 2014 where we took the Oasis Semi-Sub Excursion. The semi-sub had much better views than a typical glass bottom boat. The guides opened the hatch and we climbed down a ladder where there was seating below water level for 16 people. There were 16 windows along the side walls so everyone had a window. We motored along a reef for about 30 minutes then one of the guides appeared in the water with scuba gear and started feeding the fish. That brought the fish really close, especially the Yellow-Tailed Snappers and one Barracuda. The diver also entertained us by blowing smoke-ring bubbles.

Scuba Diving the Coral Garden Grand Turk 2013

Second dive of a two tank dive, Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands, October 2013. This one to the Coral Garden. We saw more fish here than on the first dive at the Tunnels. Maximum depth of 60 feet for nearly an hour. Video taken with a GoPro. Thanks to Oasis Divers for guiding the adventure.
