34067 Tangmere 11-11-2012
SR Light Pacific 4-6-0, Battle of Britain class, no 34067, Tangmere on the down leg of the Railway Touring Company, Kentish Belle Armistice Day Special, captured here at Pluckley Station in Kent, fresh from its water stop at Headcorn.
Pluckley is a village and civil parish in the Ashford District of Kent, United Kingdom. It is located close to the North Downs, and is approximately 5 miles (8 km) west of Ashford. One part of the village is called Pluckley Thorne.
References to Pluckley can be found in the Domesday Book, at which time it was a more significant settlement than the now considerably larger town of Ashford. Sir Edward Dering, 1st Baronet is buried here. The Dering Manuscript, the earliest extant manuscript text of any Shakespearean play, was discovered at Surrenden Manor in Pluckley. The manuscript provides a single-play version of both Part 1 and Part 2 of Henry IV. The consensus of Shakespeare scholars is that the Dering MS represents a redaction prepared around 1613, perhaps for family or amateur theatrics, by Edward Dering (1598--1644) of Surrenden Manor.
The village is approximately 5 miles (8 km) from the nearest junction of the M20 motorway, is served by Pluckley railway station, about 1.25 miles (2 km) to the south and lies on the long distance walking route, the Greensand Way and close to the Stour Valley Walk.
The ITV drama series, The Darling Buds of May, was filmed in the village (doubling for Sidcup). Pluckley had an entry in the 1989 Guinness Book of Records for being the most haunted village in Britain, with 12 different ghosts reported. There are some old stories to be heard about the highwayman. A Strange But True? episode covered the village in 1995 and Ghost Hunters International recently did three investigations in Pluckley. Most Haunted: Midsummer Murders conducted an investigation of the murdered highwayman Robert Du Bois in the Screaming Woods. Pluckley was also featured on an episode of BBC's Top Gear. Two of the presenters, James May and Richard Hammond, were filming a review of the Smart Forfour. The presenters spent 24 consecutive hours in the car, spending the night in the Screaming Woods. Local radio network KMFM broadcast their Hallowe'en special - Frightday Night - in 2009 from the Black Horse Inn, and also explored the Screaming Woods. Pluckley was also featured on an episode of Sunday Night Project where Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr with their guest host Will Young investigated a mill in Pluckley and also stayed in a tent overnight in the Screaming Woods. The village featured on the BBC Radio 4 show Open County in which Helen Mark investigated the hauntings of the village and their effects of village life.

Blyth Power - Coriolanus (Live & Independent at the Bay 63, 1986)
© Charming Music Limited. Produced by Nightingale Films Ltd.
Blyth Power are a British rock band formed in 1983 by singer and drummer Joseph Porter, formerly of Zounds and The Mob.
Blyth Power's music shows strong influences from punk rock and folk music, and the band members have described their sound as a cross between The Clash, Steeleye Span and The Rubettes
Established in 1983 and named after a railway locomotive,[2] the one constant in an ever-shifting lineup has been drummer, vocalist, and songwriter Joseph Porter (real name Gary James Hatcher,[3] born 21 February 1962 in Templecombe, Somerset[4]). The band's lyrics often deal with episodes from history, ranging from the Trojan War to the Cod War — as well as aspects of English culture such as cricket, village life and trains. Porter is an avowed trainspotter, and in August 1998 the band appeared on the LWT television programme Holy Smoke! in a slot in which musicians discussed their individual religions — with trainspotting cited as his religion.[5]
Since 1993, Blyth Power recordings have been released on their own label, Downwarde Spiral. Since 2000 they have cut back on their touring schedule due to various personal commitments, but they have organised an annual mini-festival, the Blyth Power Ashes. The festival takes place in August of each year, and combines live music with a cricket match featuring band members and their associates. From 2011 the event moved to The Plough, in Farcet Fen near Peterborough due to its ever increasing popularity.[6]
Joseph Porter has also been involved with various side-projects, such as doing solo guitarist/vocalist performances and collaborating in 2 other bands, Red Wedding and Mad Dogs & Englishmen.

MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA EXTRACTS: I
The sensational Carroll Foundation Trust Gerald 6th Duke of Sutherland Trust multi-billion dollar corporate identity theft offshore tax fraud case has revealed that yet another Police Authority is involved inn this ongoing organised crime bank fraud heist which stretches the globe.
Sources have confirmed that the Suffolk Police Chief Constable continues to retain the compelling criminal standard of standard of proof prosecution files which concern Gerald Carroll's multi-million pound Warren Hill Newmarket Suffolk estate which was the target of multiple criminal seizures and fraud offences executed by the HSBC Bank Group in concert with the Scotland Yard Withersworldwide and Slaughter & May law firms crime syndicate which continues to operate in offshore tax havens with impunity.
Suffolk Police Service dossiers disclose a shocking trail of subversive cover-up attempts which are directly linked to the fraudulent incorporation of HSBC International offshore accounts Barclays International offshore accounts and Queen's bankers Coutts & Co accounts that effectively impulsed this massive City of London bank fraud spanning three continents.
MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA EXTRACTS: II
The Carroll Foundation Trust and parallel Gerald 6th Duke of Sutherland Trust multi-billion dollar corporate identity theft offshore tax fraud case which is encircling the HSBC Holdings Plc Chairman Mark Tucker has revealed that a startling array of former Chairmen “centered around” Sir William Purves Sir John Bond Lord Stephen Green and Sir Douglas Flint have been named in the FBI Scotland Yard cross-border criminal “standard of proof” prosecution files in this case of international importance.
Sources have confirmed that the HSBC Bank Group are one of the “core cell high value suspects” surrounding the systematic break-up and criminal liquidation of major operating divisions of the Carroll Global Corporation Trust industrial empire spanning three continents.
Further sources have disclosed that the dossiers contain a compelling evidential paper trail concerning the HSBC Bank Group Sir John Bond and Sir Douglas Flint “sponsored” Clifford Chance law firm and Ernst & Young criminal administration regime which was “targeted” at the Carroll Foundation Trust underlying eighty five corporations stretching the globe.
City of London Police leaked sources have revealed that the compelling evidential criminal prosecution files contain forensic specimen exhibits of two parallel Urban Finance Corporation structures which have been named as the Gerald 6th Duke of Sutherland Trust Urban Finance Corporation (Bahamas) Trust and the HSBC Investment Banking Urban Finance Corporation (Gibraltar) Trust which effectively underpinned the HM Treasury “sponsored” embezzlement break-up and fraudulent liquidation offences “targeted” at the Gerald J. H. Carroll Trusts worldwide business empire.
In a stunning twist it has also emerged that the HSBC Bank Group under the stewardship of Sir John Bond and Sir Douglas Flint fraudulently incorporated a UK Companies House “registered” Urban Finance Corporation Ltd group structure in what is known to have been a bungled attempt to provided a diversionary corporate smokescreen for the embezzlement of a mind boggling two hundred and fifty million dollars of Gerald Carroll’s huge treasury investment holdings which were held at the Queen’s bankers Coutts & Co and Barclays International.
Scotland Yard leaked sources have said that the HSBC Bank Group are confronting major criminal allegations of conspiracy to defraud racketeering offshore tax fraud obstruction and bribery “centered around” what can only be termed as the “corporate highjacking” of two of the Carroll family lawyers respectively Withersworldwide and Clifford Chance whilst “in parallel” defrauding the HSBC Bank Group shareholders and the Gerald J. H. Carroll Trusts worldwide interests of more than two hundred and fifty million dollars of treasury investment holdings.
This source also disclosed that Sir John Bond relocated the HSBC Nassau Bahamas offices to the Sir Victor Sassoon building known as Sassoon House Shirley Street Nassau which essentially was the “corporate birth place” of the Gerald 6th Duke of Sutherland Trust and the Urban Finance Corporation (Bahamas) Trust investment banking operations.
The Carroll Foundation Trust files are held within a complete lockdown at the FBI Washington DC field office and the Metropolitan Police Scotland Yard London under the supervision of the Commissioner Cressida Dick QPM who is known to have an intimate knowledge of this major public interest case.

ABOUT THIS FEED:
Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada, in the Canadian Rockies, is located on the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP), where their Shuswap Sub meets their Mountain Sub. The Shuswap Sub runs to the west to Kamloops, BC (towards Vancouver, BC), and the Mountain Sub runs to the east to Field, BC, through Rogers Pass.
The CP traverses the Canadian Rockies over 2 passes. Rogers Pass, which is to the immediate east of Revelstoke, and further east, Kicking Horse Pass, which is to the immediate east of Field. Rogers Pass is at 4,360 feet (1,330 meters), and Kicking Horse Pass is at 5,339 feet (1,627 meters). To the west of Revelstoke is the lower Eagle Pass, at 1,804 feet (550 meters).
Among the freight trains seen here are unit potash, unit grain, and unit coal. Loaded westbounds feature both mid-train and end-of-train DPU’s, and empty eastbounds have fewer engines, both on front and as DPU’s. Many but not all eastbounds will stop to enter the yard, which is located to the east of the museum and cameras. Also seen are manifests, intermodal, and combined intermodal/manifest..
On occasion, the gates will activate, but will soon after deactivate, with no train, which is due to the switcher in the yard proceeding far forward enough to enter the crossing's track circuit.
There are no VIA Rail passenger trains through Revelstoke, however, during part of the year the Rocky Mountaineer can be seen.
There are 2 ATCS layouts, one for each sub, but there is no server coverage. No radio feeds are available.
There’s no schedule for freight trains, but some of our more knowledgeable members will provide real-time information when it’s available. Please refrain from asking.
