Black Rocks ,also referred to as Black Stone, is the name of a notable rock formation on the northeastern coast of the island of Saint Kitts. Located close to the town of Saddlers, the rocks consist of lava flow from the volcanic Mount Liamuiga which dominates the northern half of the island of Saint Kitts.

Black Rocks - the Atlantic Coast, St. Kitts (Royston Tours - December 28, 2011)
This St. Kitts landmark - located between Saddlers and Tabernacle villages on the north side of the island - is a remnant of the once active volcano, Mt. Liamuiga.
During our Island Tour with Royston Tours of St. Kitts, we made it a point to take in these beautiful, ebony cliffs that formed hundreds of years ago. Standing by the edge of the cliffs, one can appreciate the force that the volcano had when it erupted and can imagine these rocks being formed of the hot lava as it entered the cool Caribbean.

I got kicked out for walking down to the beach. There were no signs and I've traversed WAY WORSE terrain than this simple hike down the cliff. A woman in a security shirt yelled for me to come back up and when I got to the top she threatened to take me to jail. Yeah, that probably would not have gone too well. Apparently someone died there doing exactly what I did. If someone had taken the time to erect a sign I would not have walked down. I did not appreciate the amount of trash thrown (or blown) down onto the rocks so sorry for the dialogue. I do realize there are other areas of the island that you can see evidence of volcanic activity but the bus drive told us this was it that day. At the very end of the video you can hear Ms. Security yelling at me.
