Bicol Fishermen launching boats in Santo Domingo, Albay, Legazpi, Philippines.
During my time in Bicol, I went to Santo Domingo, Albay, wandered along the pier and filmed the local fishermen launching their boats. The beach despite being black sand still has a lot of potential but is sadly full of litter, if only the locals would clean it up, or the Barangay get some kind of Beach clean policy going then it would be a brilliant spot for tourism. Nearby there are local tours, Island hopping, fishing, great fresh food, a peaceful setting with the Mayon to the West giving fantastic views. You can buy the fish on the road near to where they land the boats.
Sto Domingo is a small village however, no supermarkets, 1 Pharmacy but a very peaceful and friendly place.
