THINGS TO DO IN AUCKLAND: Mission Bay Beach Auckland | Auckland Day Trip
THINGS TO DO IN AUCKLAND: Mission Bay Beach Auckland | Auckland Day Trip
*HD Video with Subtitles in English*
My friend Navi and I, as part of a random Auckland City Tour, visited the famous museum at Auckland Domain (Winter Garden) and #MissionBayBeach in Auckland city last week. Here's the final part of the #Aucklanddaytrip we had been to. These two places are one of the famous Auckland attractions that one should try and visit as part of their Auckland tour. One should try and include these two places as part of their day trip in Auckland and should surely include these as one of the #ThingstodoinAuckland .
As per Wikipedia, Mission Bay is a seaside suburb of Auckland city, on the North Island of New Zealand, with a population of 5469. The suburb's beach is a popular resort, located alongside Tamaki Drive. The area also has a wide range of eateries. Mission bay beach is a great place to visit as a day trip to Auckland, it's very crowded during the Summer months with many families enjoying there and many people soaking up the Sun rays or paddling on the warm ocean water. It's a great place for families to have picnic in Auckland.
I also met my friend Zoheb who now owns a Subway shop there along with an extended Convenience store. So if anyone of you are keen to have some quick food or drinks whilst you are enjoying at the beach, do visit his shop.
#JourneywithAmit channel is based in Auckland, which is New Zealand's largest city and very famous for it's diverse population hailing from all around the globe, it's famous Volcanic cones, Gardens, Beaches, Cafe's and much more. Auckland is the main gateway international airport with its Auckland International Airport witnessing the arrivals of hundreds of thousands of visitors each year into this beautiful country New Zealand.
I try and upload videos without much of editing so that the people can get the feeling of the actual trip or travel or events as it occurred. I do not edit my videos much so as to give the real feeling to the audience who is watching and who wants to feel the things as real as possible ! Also I have tried to add in Subtitles for the wider audience as the channel is mainly in Hindi language. I have come across very few travel channel in Hindi.
For sightseeing in Auckland New Zealand, you need to take out at least two to three days to able to enjoy Auckland city. For this you may take bus tours, many of which have day trips from Auckland, or just take local transportation to each of Auckland sightseeing places.

WELLINGTON VLOG (Day 2)
Day 2! Exploring Wellington like Professional Tourists ;D
It was Sunny + not at all windy + temperature is decent = Perfect Welly kind of day!
We planned to do as much as we can on our second day, as the rest of the days were either going to be cloudy, drizzling, raining, and/or cold.
We tried getting up as early as we can but 8am was our best, instead of our planned “6am start”. We prepared our snack which we will bring and eat once we arrive at the Lookout at Mount Victoria as we were certain we’ll be hungry by then.
VICTORIA LOOKOUT: See Wellington on 360!
We walked to Victoria Lookout from our Hostel (Nomads at Wakefield street, near Cuba Street) which took us just more or less 30 minutes, then we started hiking up to the lookout.
ORIENTAL BEACH/BAY:
Situated against the northern slope of Mount Victoria and just 1.5km from the central city is where you can find Oriental Bay. The sand found at Oriental Beach came all the way from Golden Bay.
ORIENTAL PARADE:
Heading towards CBD through Oriental Parade, we took a turn and discovered the footpath along Evans Bay Parade where the boatsheds were. Awesome place to take photos!
WELLINGTON WATERFRONT:
We enjoyed the magnificent views of the harbour and was great strolling there. Before we got off the waterfront walk, we tried the slide at Frank Kitts Park which Tracie was so keen to try!
WELLINGTON CABLE CAR:
Not far from the waterfront, it took as more or less 10 mins to walk to Cable Car Lance where you can ride up the hill to the top of the Botanic Garden. The highlight of our day is absolutely when “Gabriel” played and sang. He sounds famous! Here are the full videos of the songs he sang:
Call Out My Name -
Purple Rain -
Honesty -
BOTANIC GARDEN:
The Wellington Botanic Garden covers 25 hectares of land on the side of the hill and is located near central Wellington.
THE BEEHIVE:
“Beehive” the most common name for the Executive Wing. It is so-called because of its shape reminiscent of that of a traditional woven form of beehive(‘skep’). The Beehive is the most recognisable building in the Parliamentary complex. Free tours are given at the Parliament, which is just beside the Beehive.
CUBA STREET: My fav street!
Took a bus and hopped off at Cuba street, decided to get some food before going back to the hostel. There are a wide range of cafes, restaurants, take-aways, bars, shops, etc at this street and night food markets on Fridays.
One of my Best travels so far!
Would like to thank Tracie for joining me as well! I had so much fun travelling with you! ❤

Admiring Lake Taupo And Seeing Wellington City New Zealand || NZ Vlog
In this video, we start off admiring the beautiful Lake Taupo before driving down to Wellington City.
Most of the video shows us driving Wellington taking in the beautiful little neighbourhoods and suburbs. We also went to the Weta Caves where they created props and animation for the lord of the rings trilogy, but we didn't film inside.
The video ends with us driving north towards Auckland where we stopped and took some videos of the sunset at the Seaside Holiday Park on a black sand beach near Mokau.

Piha, Auckland Part 2
It was a lovely day here in Piha Auckland, New Zealand so I thought I'll go for a walk along the beach and checked out the caves.
Piha is New Zealand’s most famous surf beach. Situated on the west coast of the North Island, 40 km from the city of Auckland, this black iron-sand beach has a reputation for awesome surf which rolls in over the Tasman Sea. When Uncle Toby’s Iron Man contest was held at Piha in 1997, canoes were snapped in two and they’ve never come back.
It can be moody, misty and mysterious, wild, wet and wind-swept. The power goes off, the phone lines come down, sometimes the road in (and out) gets blocked. Living here is not for the faint-hearted.
Piha was the birthplace of Malibu board riding in New Zealand, introduced by two Californian lifeguards in 1956. The first surf boat race held in New Zealand was at Piha in the 1930s.
Piha has rips and currents and is very unforgiving of the foolhardy so it’s important to only swim in areas patrolled by surf clubs. Fisherman regularly die off the rocks, so check with the clubs before you venture out.
Piha is not just surf and sand. With rugged cliffs and the majestic Lion Rock standing guard over the beach, the scenery is dramatic and inspiring. The beach is backed by the Waitakere Ranges, a protected parkland of the sub-tropical forest, accessible through numerous bush tracks.
Piha has a small beach community made up of bach owners and residents. The lifestyle is laid back and simple, but there are all the basic amenities for a good life.
Try it out. Life’s a beach.

Phillip had two weeks school holidays in the early October 2018, we went to the small town Waiuku, and explored the popular places in this region, such as Manukau Heads Lighthouse, and Awhitu regional park
Karioitahi beach is only 8 minutes drive from Waiuku town centre.
The information below is from the website
Karioitahi Beach is a black sand beach located southwest of Auckland in what was fromerly the Franklin District before amalgamation. Karioitahi Beach's rugged and windswept environment is ideal for paragliding and is also popular for other beach activities such as surfing, fishing, horse riding, off-road motorcycling.
