Today I had a fab day with my bestie Louis, Toby, Will, Andy and my dad. We did the High Ropes Challenge at Haigh Hall, Wigan. It was brill but scary but we all did it.

Blackpool NEW Chariots Of The Gods THEME PARK!

The area around here is the old Blackpool Central Railway Station
Demolished in 1964 nothing was really every developed here - just became one of the biggest car parks in the UK. We had a court built, a police station, then later a coach park.

This area has always been a prime spot for development, it’s at the foot of one of the worlds most iconic buildings, it’s here in the biggest entertainment capital of Europe attracting millions of visitors every year for over 100 years - but this area was left, left to nothing… until now!

If you remember I did a short vlog in October this year telling you about the current mass investment in Blackpool, a new Imax Theater, Museum, new hotels, a brand new tram terminus with restaurants along the new tram line extension and much more.

Well I kinda knew what was to come a big secret that the council held close until today - welcome to the new Blackpool, the new Blackpool Central!

This is huge for not only Blackpool but the whole country and beyond - a £300m “world class” visitor attraction with the UK’s first “flying theater”.

Built in 4 stages this area will under go massive redevelopment, to be called Blackpool Central, It will see an attractions similar to what Disney World have – and unlike anything currently on offer in this country.

This will attract over an extra half a million visitors to the Blackpool spending an estimated extra £75m, creating over 1000 new jobs!

Visitors will see a new flying theater ride through a mystical fantasy landscape, indoor attractions in hi-tech virtual reality, an ‘adventure land’ family entertainment center with climbing and rope courses, an ‘alien diner’ featuring meals delivered by roller coaster, an open air entertainments space and an artisan market. New hotels, food outlets, apartments, and possibly a brand new modern nightclub and music venue - all indoors. This show will go on whatever the weather.

Lets not forget what we have to offer already, the tower world, many attractions - the pleasure beach, sandcastle water park, heritage trams and buses and the world famous illuminations.

My town, your town or your play ground for families is filmy on the map and this will help improve many many another areas across the Fylde coast.

This is why a new train service Great North Western will be running trains to Blackpool from London along side Virgins existing stock, new electric trains from Northern helping to bring visitors in from Manchester Airport, a new tram extension from Blackpool North Station, and If this doesn’t get more trains running on the South Fylde line ‘calls for a passing loop?

I was filming around North Pier and the prom today when I spotted a man scaling the Tower..No idea what he was doing.. replacing bulbs? checking everything's okay since the scaffolding came down? Protesting? (I'm pretty sure he wasn't a protester lol)
