Visiting Tumacácori National Historical Park and attempting to walk to Tubac
Tumacácori National Historical Park in southeastern Arizona preserves an 18th-century Spanish mission church and tells the story of Jesuit Eusebio Francisco Kino arriving here from New Spain. After exploring the mission and museum we walked on the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail trying to walk to Tubac for lunch, but we had to turn around due to high water on the trail. We still made it to Tubac for some delicious lunch and chocolate.
We are Matt & Diana and we live in an RV full time and are on a journey to visit all 400+ National Park Units. To follow us along subscribe to our channel here
Tumacácori National Historical Park was unit #9 out of #419 on our journey to visit them all. See a detailed write up here:

Return to Monument Valley, Part 3 - Return Home
I launched before dawn for a last look at Monument Valley, then headed across the Goosenecks of the San Juan River. Next stop - Valley of the Gods. Mark and I flew past Comb Ridge and Bluff, refueled in Farmington and headed towards Albuquerque. In case you are wondering, Mark did eventually make it back to civilization. Part 3 of 3. Running time, 6 minutes 18 seconds.

Roche-A-Cri State Park rev1
Roche-A-Cri (means shouting or whooping rock) or crevice in the rock as the French explorers called it, is a 300 foot sandstone bluff near Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin. The park, established in 1948, has viewable Native American petroglyphs and pictographs discovered in 1851, but were written a thousand years ago. Roche-A-Cri is made of Cambrian sandstone about 500,000 years old. It is a long narrow flat-topped ridge bordered by shear precipices. The bluff was once an island in the 1,800 square mile Glacial Lake Wisconsin. In 1994 a Wisconsin Conservation Corps group finished a 303 step stairway to the top of the bluff. The 605 acre park has a number of soft trails strewn with pine needles that are all linked to the 41 site shower-less campground. One leads to a prairie restoration project, crossing over a foot bridge on Carter Creek, a picturesque trout creek. Slideshow by John Wanserski.
