Glen Woods - Blairadam Forest
I did this walk on the 27th May 2012. I had not planned to take videos of the walk, I was just out with my wife Shirley and our dog Jasper but when we got to were I took the video I said to Shirley this is beautiful, I am going to video it. I went back to the start of the stretch I videoed and started videoing, I took a few photos as well. I did not video our intyre walk just the area I thought was really beautiful. The video is not all that long I think its around 18 minutes long and covers around 0.724 miles. I am at present working on 2 more video I took in Blairadam forest I took about a month later, they were taken at two other areas of the forest.
I hope you enjoyed the walk and video. If you did check out my other videos of walks or even come along and do the walks yourself. There are some great walks around Fife though most of the walks I do are around my home in Lochgelly. This is due to a few factors, one is that there are a lot of great walks local to where I live (some might not be all that long but there are quite a few of them close-ish together that if you are able to you could maybe do more than one of the walks) and another is the fuel is getting just too expensive to go too far afield.
All of my walks are Mobility scooter accessible or I would not be able to do them. My Mobility scooter is a large 3 wheeled version. Is there anyone out there that might be willing to sponsor me by buying me a good quality Helmut camera? At the moment I use my Sony Ericsson Neo 720p phone camera which I have to hold in one hand steer the scooter with the other which can be quite hard to do. I have tried a Helmut camera an unbranded version of a camera called a Possidion 720p HD but I found the video warped. I looked on youtube at clips taken on some other similar priced Helmut cameras and found them warped as well so it will have to be a more expensive Helmut camera that produces true to live HD video like I get from my Sony Ericsson Neo 720p phone camera. A Helmut as well would be helpfull but not a bike version with all the holes in it, more like motor bike Helmut's. r.a.hunter@live.co.uk

Fife Creek in Armstrong Red Woods
A popular park off the Russian River, Armstrong can get quite busy. The picnic areas fill quickly so check with the park web site regarding reservations.
Redwood forests can get quite cool. Bring some warm cloths.
The reserve is located three miles north of Guerneville on Armstrong Woods Road.
From Highway 101- coming North or South- take the River Road exit (in Santa Rosa).
Go west on River Road until you reach Guerneville. At the second stop light make a right hand turn onto Armstrong Woods Road. This road will end in the park.
