Full Video Script Below
Come with me as we travel deep within the Northern Irish countryside, through to the lush green Glens of Antrim to the banks of the gently flowing Kellswater river. There you will find the Baird McNutt dyeing and finishing facility.
Established here in 1798, generations of experience have gone into building a reputation the world over as producers of the finest Irish Linen Fabrics.
The processes we use today are the result of over 200 years spent perfecting our craft. Some of these methods are unchanged by time whilst others use the latest innovations of modern technology.
The refining touches of fire, steam, water and air are infused throughout our extraordinary linen as it goes through the stages of singeing, bleaching, dyeing, washing and finishing.
Our rigorous quality control procedures ensure we never compromise on the texture and finish of our product. Every batch is confirmed by the keen eyes of skilled workers in our never ending drive for perfection.
Journey now to the extreme North West of Ireland, to the picturesque coastal village of Downings, County Donegal.
Here at Baird McNutts' design studio and mill we have been weaving the richness of the dramatic Irish landscape into our fabrics for many years.
From the click clacking looms spills vividly coloured and uniquely patterned Irish Linen with qualities just not found anywhere else.
Like the constant purposeful drive of our machines, we have relentless passion to explore new opportunities producing the world's finest Irish Linen fabrics.
As linen producers, we are justifiably proud of our Irish heritage. Every aspect of our fabrics the yarn, the weave, the colour, the romance and the history; they set us apart and make us the preferred supplier to the world's leading brands.

Coming Soon to Waterford Treasures: The Irish Museum of Time!
Waterford Treasures is building on the success of its work in the Viking Triangle, the city’s museum quarter, by adding the most unique offering yet – The Irish Museum of Time.
Time can be wasted, kept, saved, spent, killed, lost and longed for, and the history and science of time has both fascinated and captivated human beings for millennia; being at once a mystery, and yet vital to our survival as a species. From the first recorded date in history of 4236 BC to the present day, our lives, our stories and our cultures have been shaped by the passing of seconds, hours and years.
Made possible through two incredible and generous donations of museum-quality timepieces from Ireland and around the world, the museum will explore the science of time and the 5000 year story of how time was measured and recorded in Ireland and across the world.
