On the very beautiful island Mljet there is the small village Okuklje. It is known as safe harbour for sailing boats. During summer time every night a lot of sailing boats are coming in and many people are strawling around Okuklje. But still it´s a very layed back and scenic village. The water in the bay is very clean and just wants you to jump in the water. Also around the village there are great spots for swimming.
The island Mljet is the most green island I have seen so far in croatia. Its great for hiking with awesome views.
Okuklje doesn`t have many restaurant, but the one`s they have a serving great and fresh sea food. I had on of the best sea food risotto ever!

Prižba koja se nalazi na južnoj strani otoka Korčule, smještana na obali uz samo more u duljini od 4 km. Udaljena je 4 km od Brne, 8 km od Smokvice, 10 km od mjesta Blato, 17 km od Vele Luke te 40 km od grada Korčule.
Prižba se sastoji od nekoliko manjih uvala i dva poluotoka: Ratak i Prišćapac. Prišćapac je ujedno i malo turističko naselje sa svim popratnim turističkim sadržajima, te šljunčanom plažom. Na poluotoku Ratak, u centru Prižbe nalazi se šljunčana plaža i mali samostan Sestara Milosrdnica. U okolici Prižbe brojni su vinogradi i raskošne vile nekadašnjih korčulanskih plemića, crnogorične šume i prekrasni otočići Stupa, Crklica, Sridnjak i Vrhovnjak, idealni za uživanje u kupanju i sunčanju. Prizba is a small tourist settlement that developed on the southern shore of the island of Korcula. It is a part of the municipality of Blato. The town of Blato is located 10 kilometers from Prizba and Vela Luka, the main ferry port that connects the island of Korcula with the coastal town of Split on the mainland, is located 14 kilometers from Prizba.
The nearest costal settlements are Grscica (2 km), Brna (4 km) and Smokvica (8 km). Prizba overlooks the Lastovo channel, the archipelago of the island of Lastovo and the horizons of the open sea. There is a small port in Prizba, which is well protected from northern, southern and easter winds, but it is open to western winds. In front of Prizba, an archipelago of small islets is located, which is the perfect place for those that seek peace and unspoiled nature.
There you can swim, snorkel and dive in crystal clear Adriatic sea, and immerse yourself in this unique natural setting that invites each one of us to times gone by but still present deep within us. Here you can be one with nature again, far away from stress and rush of the modern life. It is possible to rent a small motor boat in Prizba, and explore these beautiful islands by yourself. Prigradica je malo ribarsko mjesto okruženo starim vinogradima i maslenicima na sjeverozapadnoj obali otoka Korčule, udaljeno 4 km od Blata, 12 km od mjesta Vela Luka te 45 km od grada Korčule. Prigradica, jedna do najranije naseljenih uvala na otoku, nastala je kao izvozna luka za cijenjeno vino i maslinovo ulje iz obližnjeg Blata. Krase mnoge drevne kamene kuće, tako da je Prigradica očuvala autentičan rustikalni ugođaj minulih vremena.
Prigradica je danas isključivo turističko mjesto za ugodan i miran odmor. Uvalom dominira velika riva sa lukobranom sagrađenim u doba vladavine Austro-Ugarske. Od zabavno sportskih sadržaja u mjestu se nalaze stjenovite i šljunčane plaže, gostionice, kafići, tereni za nogomet, košarku i odbojku na pijesku. Kako je Korčula šumovit i brdovit otok, Prigradica je i odlična baza za treking i biciklističke ture po otoku. Obližnja sela, nedirnuta stoljećima, jedinstven su doživljaj povratka u prošlost.

Prigradica is a small fishing town surrounded by old vineyards and olive groves on the northwestern coast of the island of Korcula, 4 km away from Blato, 12 km from Vela Luka, and 45 km from the city of Korcula. Prigradica, one of the earliest inhabited bays on the island, was established as an exporting harbor for the respected wine and olive oil from nearby Blato. It has many ancient stone houses so it is obvious that Prigradica has preserved the authentic rustic enviroment from days long gone.
Prigradica today is solely a tourist place for a comfortable and peaceful rest. A large waterfront dominates the bay with a mole which was built during the reign of Austria-Hungary. Entertainment and sports facilities include rocky and pebble beaches, restaurants, cafe bars, soccer fields, basketball, and sand volleyball. Since Korcula is a forested and mountainous island, Prigradica is an excellent starting place for trekking and bicycle routes around the island. The surrounding villages, untouched for centuries, are a unique experience of returning to the past.

4 day trip to beautiful island called Mljet in Croatia with joyful ppl from HPD Gorščica. We stayed in camp LOVOR which is well equipped and hosts were hospitable and kind :)
It was the last day of our trip. Before going home we visited Walls os Stone :)

Rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages, and harbouring a glorious old town, the island of Korčula is the sixth-largest Adriatic island, stretching nearly 47km in length. The dense woods led the original Greek settlers to call the island Korkyra Melaina (Black Korčula).
