Was around the area for work and we decided to check out Kimono Ken in Blue Bay Walk which is a Federal Land development along EDSA Extension past Roxas Blvd. There are a lot of restaurants in this area supporting the reclamation area.

Tonkotsu ramen is a pork bone broth ramen that has a cloudy white colored broth. It has a thick broth made from boiling pork bones, fat, and collagen over high heat for many hours, which suffuses the broth with a hearty pork flavor and a creamy consistency that rivals milk or melted butter. Velvet Friends Cat Café is the very first Cat themed Café in the Philippines opened by Chito Aclon in June 2015. There is a French styled café and a separate air-conditioned playroom with 12 breeds of cats including American Curl, Maine Coon, British Shorthairs, Domestic Shorthair, Kurilian Bobtail, Cornish Rex, Ragdolls, Exotic Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Scottish Straight and Siberian. For a minimal entrance fee you get to spend an hour to pet and learn about these felines. The Cornish Rex is the most expensive breed at the café costing PHP 150,000 and the Maine Coon is the largest weighing more than 7 kilos.
It has been demonstrated by numerous studies around the globe that having pets helps lower our stress levels, decrease blood pressure, benefit our cholesterol, improve our mood, and boost our immunity – in other words, lengthen our life span! According to a study by the Minnesota Stroke Institute that followed more than 4,000 cat owners over 10 years, owning a cat can dramatically reduce a person's chance of dying from heart disease.
Specifically, people who owned cats were 30 percent less likely to suffer a heart attack. The study merely adds to the existing evidence that shows how animals can benefit human health. Other research shows that pets help us feel better overall and help us to deal with stress, which can be a source of illness.
The cats at Velvet Friends are not older than a year and have been bred in captivity and are extremely friendly and playful a good opportunity to meet different cat breeds from around the world.
