The Blue Canyon Country Club is one of the most renowned Golf Courses that Thailand has to offer. The Club offers two ranges - the Canyon Course and the Lakes Course, each with its own specific terrain. Big thanks to Chris here in Phuket who invited me for a round of golf at the Blue Canyon course. The course was tough and without my own clubs all mistakes were then punished by the course. Mentally it was a difficult round to get through, although I am sure with my own set and bit more experience with this course I can do much better.
Chris shot an eye-popping 78. For my total, please ask my caddy.

World Final of the 2013 BMW Golf Cup International in Phuket
The island of Phuket in Thailand provided the stunning backdrop to the final event of the 2013 BMW Golf Cup International -- with more than 100,000 participants in over 50 nations the largest amateur series in golf.
145 golfers came through their national competitions to qualify for the World Final at the Blue Canyon Country Club, where they were given the same treatment one might expect at a professional event.
And it turned out to be another unforgettable week for all involved.
