They have lots of branches in the city like the blue pumpkin riverside, the blue pumpkin monument book, the blue pumpkin boeung keng kong, the blue pumpkin toul kork.... This is the blue pumpkin toul kork branch where there is only ice cream and cake. My kids like to go there after school for strawberry and coconut ice cream and the black chocolate cake.

Dining on Dogs in China: Dog Days of Yulin (Part 1/2)

Southern China has always had a tradition of dining on dogs—people from other parts of the country even joke that Southerners will eat anything with legs but the dinner table. But despite becoming more prosperous in the 1990s, Yulin has maintained the unique tradition of holding a canine banquet every summer.
Animal rights activists across China and the rest of the globe have increasingly condemned the Dog Meat Festival, calling for an immediate stop to eating man’s best friend. They say the dog meat trade is illegal, unregulated, and cruel. Many claim that numerous dogs that end up in cooking pots are stolen pets or diseased strays.
In 2013, the Yulin festival gathered so much negative press that this year, the local government denied the Summer Solstice dog-eating tradition ever even existed. But that hasn’t stopped locals from celebrating—nor has it stopped die-hard activists from flooding the town to try to rescue dogs before the slaughter.
VICE Reports headed to Yulin this year to get to the bottom of the most controversial festival in China.

On this Cambodian street food tour in Phnom Penh, I’m taking you on a one day tour to eat authentic Khmer breakfast lunch and dinner in a single day.
Cambodian Breakfast - 7 am
There are plenty of dishes you can eat for breakfast in Cambodia, but nothing is as popular or widely available as a dish called bai sach chrouk, grilled thin strips of marinated pork over broken rice with pickles and soup on the side. It’s a simple combination, but a plate for breakfast is extremely satisfying. Price - 3,500 KHR ($0.84)
Cambodian Lunch - 11:30 am
Just outside of Psar Chas (Old Market) in Phnom Penh, you’ll find an abundance of colorful Khmer street food stall that serve all sorts of grilled river fish, and a huge selection of different dishes to choose from. While most locals get their food for takeaway, a kind lady offered us a seat in front of her house to sit down and eat. It was an amazing and extremely local Cambodian food lunch. The grilled fish and the parhok were my favorite dishes. Lunch total price - 35,000 KHR ($8.42)
Cambodian Dinner - 6:30 pm
For Cambodian dinner we decided to eat Cambodian bbq, and it’s a type of restaurant you’re going to want to try when you’re in Cambodia. 34 Langeach Sros is a Cambodian beer garden style restaurant, and they have a pretty good assortment of grilled meats and unique Cambodian delicacies. It was one of the tastiest Cambodian meals I’ve ever had in my life. The ant larvae and goat was amazing, and the eel fried with herbs was outstanding. Thank you to Lina from for the recommendation. Total price - $22.88
That completes an authentic tour of Cambodian food in a single day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

WOULD YOU EAT HERE? BANGKOK'S MOST UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE | THE VACANT LOT RESTAURANT
This is by far the most unique dining experience I have had so far. This vacant lot looks more like a demolished construction zone rather than a sit down restaurant. Because I love to explore weird and interesting things, I just had to give this outdoor restaurant a try.
The food seems very authentic and almost home cooked, as the owner fries up her delicious dishes outside on the street as I ordered. The incredible aroma filled the air as I waited for my food.
The Pork Larb Salad is incredible filled with herbs, spices and fresh lime juice. The pork is actually very tender and soft which was a pleasant surprise. This dish will definitely open up your taste buds as it is bursting with tangy flavors.
The Fried Garlic Chicken looks and feels like a jerky and is filled with delicious crispy garlic. Although it can be compared to a jerky, the freshness allows the chicken to be nice and tender, rather than dry and hard. If you love garlic like I do, you will be sure to love this dish.
Lastly, the Stir Fried Morning Glory was also fantastic. Cooked with garlic, chili and fish sauce, this dish is one of my favorites. The crisp from the vegetable mixed with the salty fish sauce, gives this dish such a great flavor best eaten with rice.
Best thing about this place is that the dishes are very authentic with fresh ingredients and all at a reasonable price. Be sure to check this place out if you got a chance, as we don't know how long it will be here for.
Easiest way to get here is get off at the Nana BTS station, Exit 1, walk down Soi 7 and you will see it on your left hand side.
