Turkey Travel Guide - Visiting The Cotton Castle
Take a tour of Cotton Castle in Turkey -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
The carbonate mineral deposits have formed the pristine white Pamukkale in southern Turkey.
Pamukkale is Turkish for cotton castle, even though it is made up of travertine limestone run-off from the area's hot springs.
This slow moving rock formation creates dazzling stalactites and terraces
The natural hot springs have drawn tourists to this site for thousands of years.
This site is the former home of Hierapolis, a Roman Bath town.
The waters here are said to be good for the skin and eyes, and can be a remedy for asthma as well.
Shoes must be worn in the hot springs, to protect the deposits of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
How Turkish Protects Them From Nazar | Evil Eye Tree | Cappadocia Travel | In Hindi

Cappadocia is known for it's hot air balloon ride and this is one of the top things to do in Cappadocia turkey. In this video, you will know other things to do in Cappadocia, after balloon tour ride, we took green tour to explore the other parts of this amazing valley.
We booked this tour from our hotel only and tour guide picked us from the hotel and we started our journey. After having first stop to see a panoramic view of fairy chimneys, we headed to one of the famous place, underground city in cappadocia. This ancient city was really amazing and is a must thing to do unless you are a claustrophobic or prone to so better to avoid.
After having lunch, we headed to Selime Monastery, some of the shots from here have been used in stock of Star Wars and nowadays it is one of the top destination for tourists to visit. In ancient time, it had been also used for merchants to spend the night. In the end we visited evil eye tree and then headed back to our hotel for the evening.
We had booked the hot air balloon ride 2 months before from Voyager Balloon company. They picked up us from our hotel at 3.30 AM and we reached the place at 4.30 AM and began our exceptional journey to up in the sky.
If you are planning your travel to turkey, Istanbul or Cappadocia, I have all the information for you in my Turkey Travel Vlogs. How to plan trip to turkey is very common question in everyone's mind, and I believe you can plan your trip after watching my this travel series.
Turkey is one of the most amazing country where East meets West and getting visa to visit turkey is also not a very complex process. If someone has valid Schengen visa, residence card, they can get turkish tourist visa online in 10 minutes. Cost for the visa was around 45$
We started our journey to Istanbul from Amsterdam, we flew from Turkish airlines and it was a comfortable 3.5 hours flight. As we always do, we had pre-ordered our vegetarian food in the flight and it was good. We landed at new Istanbul airport which started in April 2019 only and it was very huge and modern.
We were staying only for one night in Istanbul and was traveling to Cappadocia next day morning so we had booked a hotel which was close to Istanbul airport but that airport is now closed and new airport is around 40 KMs away from city.
There are many ways to come to Istanbul city from airport, you can get airport taxis, buses etc and buses are mostly common means to transport and it's also cost effective. We took Istanbul card and recharged it with 100 Turkish Lira and reached to place which was close to our hotel. From there we took the taxi which costs 30 TL and we reached to hotel which was basic but value for money hotel and then we explored the neighborhood for dinner.
Next morning we got up early to catch our flight, we hired a taxi just from outside of our hotel and reached airport, it costs around 140 TL. We had our quick breakfast and coffee at airport, which costs around 70 TL and boarded our flight from new airport to Kayseri.
At Kayseri, we had already arranged pre-booked taxi from our hotel for just 35 TL per person, as soon as taxi received all the guests, we started from airport to Goreme city where we stayed at this beautiful property, Harman Cave Hotel. This was a perfect cave hotel in Cappadocia on the hills and we had amazing view of the fairy chimneys and hot air balloons from the open terrace of the hotel. After check-in, we took some rest before we started our quick trip to city center for lunch.
At Goreme center, we found this indian restaurant, Namaste Indian, food there was superb and we had great time interacting with person there who was from Afghanistan and he learnt hindi by watching movie 'Khuda Gawah'.

This video is based on my experience of stay in Hezen Cave Hotel, Ortahisar, Cappadocia. Caves and interesting rock formations are the most interesting part of a trip to Cappadocia. But if you happen to stay in this region, I would recommend staying in a cave hotel. Check this video to know cave hotel's cost where I stayed. There are a few specialities at Hezen Cave hotel. Watch this video to know about them.

Exploring Istanbul, Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia | Turkey Travel Vlog | Travel Talk Tours #6
We're back in Istanbul to travel the European side and check out the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia on our Turkey Travel Talk Tour...⬇ More Below ✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel non-stop —
We've done a lot of travel around Turkey, but in this vlog we finally explore the things to do in Istanbul Asian side - Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia mainly - on our second to last day with Travel Talk Tours.
As far as the best things to do in Istanbul? The Blue Mosque is arguably the top thing to see in all of Turkey, at least in Istanbul anyway. The trouble at the moment is the restorations taking place, lots of the Blue Mosque was hidden away from our eyes and cameras sadly. Amazing to see, but sad that we didn't properly get to experience the Blue Mosque properly.
Just a few minutes away is Hagia Sophia - a church and museum and it's stunning. Such a beautiful building on the inside. So as it stands, our recommendation on the best thing to do in Istanbul is actually Hagia Sophia. It's larger, older, more impressive and not as much scaffolding in your way.
Either way, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are so close to each other if you're deciding on what to do in Istanbul it's worth visiting (on a week day and early!) both to appreciate the history of Turkey and what makes Istanbul so special.
Another epic few days exploring with Travel Talk Tours, the travel vlogs are slowly coming to a close on our tour and Turkey continues to keep us smiling!
Here's the trip we're taking with Travel Talk Tours around Turkey for 11 days —

RIDING HOT AIR BALLOONS OVER CAPPADOCIA
This is why you NEED to visit Cappadocia - Hot Air Balloon & Underground City
Wow...that is all I can say when we finally go to see Cappadocia with our own eyes...this is the crowning jewel of Turkey.
We woke up at 3 in the morning to slowly make our way towards the hot air balloons which was the perfect start to our 3 days in Goreme.
After flying high above the city and seeing the sunrise over the town for the first time we made our way towards Derinkuyu, the underground city before ending our first incredible day at the open air museum.
The next morning we had to check out of our hotel so we decided to hike to our next hotel through rainbow valley. That evening we explored the town and found the most incredible carpet store before ending one of our final nights in Turkey at a traditional Turkish dance performance.

Turkey Road Trip day 5 Fethiye, Oludeniz, Butterfly Valley, Antalya. by Life Travel Pepper
Getting up in the morning and looking at Fethiye blue coast was something breathtaking!!!
We decided to start the day by enjoy Calis beach and relaxing on the sand. To recover energies we delighted ourselves with a fantastic breakfast that Yasmin Hotel offered us and drank the famous turquish tea, always present on the turquish meals.
Full of energy we got on the road again, inspired by what we would discover during the day…Oludeniz and the Butterfly Valley!!!
As we were arriving at Oludeniz we could felt on our bodies the beauty that was presented to us on the horizon…turquoise coast on it´s magnificence!!! Strong blue, hot, and stunning beaches in the middle of gorgeous curved bays!!!! We just wanted to lay down and enjoy the day, and so we did it at the Green Pine beach, surrounded by a beautiful green camp with little huts where we could rest for a while and big straw umbrellas near the warm water.
Saddly, we got quiet disappointed when we realized that on that day and the next it was not possible to get on a boat trip to Butterfly Valley because the ocean was a bit sloppy (boat trip is the only way to get to that fantastic valley nowadays). So, we decided to go watch it from the high view point on the mountain and at least getting it on video with the drone. Better than nothing!!!!
After a nice meal during the afternoon, we started a new course, crossing for a long time a few high, rocky and craggy mountains surrounded with beautiful landscapes.
At night we finally arrived at Antalya, a vibrant city of people, with small paths and thrilling restaurants and stores, where we had a delicious dinner and a nice walk on foot before we go rest at Casa Sur Hotel, a cozy and striking house , two steps across the famous Hadrian´s gate.
