Australia - The Blue Mountains - Three Sisters & Scenic World
For our last full day in Australia we decided to head somewhere special while on the way to Sydney from Canberra.... The Blue Mountains. We firstly made our way to Katoomba and then to Scenic World, we took the Steepest Railway in the world down to the valley floor and walked the longest elevated Boardwalk in Australia. We then took the Largest Cable car in Australia back to the top and then Australia's highest cable car over to see the Three Sisters. After that we made our way to Wentworth Falls where we got breathtaking views as the sun went down.... My favourite day of the trip? It's a close one.

Travel: Tour the Blue Mountains in 3 Minutes! (near Sydney, Australia)
Through a tour by Happy Travels, we were able to get a round trip ride from Sydney to Katoomba, have a small lunch, and hike around the Blue Mountains like a local for $50AUD per person (It was down from $70 when we booked the night before). A guide picked us up at Kings Cross fountain in a 21 passenger shuttle around 7am, and we got back around 5pm. Lots of hiking, not much phone service, but a lot of fun!

Scenic World, Blue Mountains Australia
Scenic World is in Katoomba, in Australia's World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, just 100 Km west of Sydney (2 hours by road or train). Scenic World, on the corner of Violet Street and Cliff Drive, Katoomba, is only 3km from Katoomba's town centre and railway station. From Katoomba you can hop on a Blue Mountains Explorer or Trolley Tours bus that will drop you off right at the front door. (Dr.Paitoon Srifa recording in front of head building office : 21-03-2010)
