Blue Note Jazz Club organised Jazzfestival. Concert in Poznan, South - Dixieland Crackerjacks

Concert organised by the Blue Note JazzClub in Poznan. The Blue Note Jazz Club in Poland has a license with the famous Blue Note club in New York.
The club in Poland hosted artists like : international stars as: Kenny Garret, Pat Metheny, Christian McBride, John Abercrombie, Eddie Henderson, Randy Brecker, Al Foster, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson, Richard Galliano, John Scofield, Kurt Elling, Ravi Coltrane, Joey de Francesco, Dave Liebman, Billy Harper.

On October 24. there was a Trad Jazz Festival in the Gongres Center hosting 3 bands :
Dixieland Crackerjacks (Holland)
Happy Jazz & Co. (Germany)
Dixie Company (Poland)

Afterwards there was a great Jam session in the Blue Note Jazz club with members of all participating bands and Polish musicians who had allready played in the Jazz Club earlier that evening.

The greatest events featuring the finest artists specializing in jazz and improvised music are held as part of the prestigious Jazz Top in Blue Note series organized in cooperation with the Poznań City authorities.
The Club has also cooperated with Poznań Jazz Fair and Era Jazzu festivals many times.

The Blue Note works as an open club and presents interesting musicians who represent other music styles, such as: blues, soul, flamenco, acid jazz, hip-hop, reggae, Celtic music, ethnic or cabaret music it hosted performances by: Huun Huur Tu, Septeto National, Cracow Klezmer Band, Zion Train, Freddie McGregor, Rafael Cortes and many more.

Recordings have been made for the Polish Television and the Polish Radio in the Blue Note Club. A few concerts held in the Club were recorded and published.
