SA Express cleared to fly again
SA Express has been cleared to fly again. The Civil Aviation Authority has just re-instated the airlines air operating certificate.
The regional airline's nine of the twenty-one aircraft were grounded in May after a CAA audit uncovered non-compliance that posed serious safety risks. SA express had to undertake re-certification process for both its air operating certificate and aircraft maintenance organisation. For the latest on the reinstatement of the operating license of the nine SA Express aircraft, we are joined by Phindiwe Gwebu from the Civil Aviation Authority.
