I'm lucky enough to see the Thresher Shark + Manta Ray on my first dive in Malapascua Island, Cebu. The divers an American couple and me.

Malapascua - A Blue Water Adventure
This video is about scuba diving on & around Malapascua Island - Situated to the north of mainland Cebu in the central Philippines.

In this video are beautiful footage of the coral reefs of Mactan's Nasuluan Marine Sanctuary, the Whale Sharks of Oslob, the Thresher Sharks of Malapascua and the Black-tips of Gato Island, Cebu, the Philippines, is truly another paradise for SCUBA divers. This video was taken during my diving vacation in Cebu which included Malapascua, Mactan and Oslob.

The footage was shot in high definition with Sony HDR 550 in a Light and Motion Bluefin 550 housing with Magic Filter, a Fathom 90 wide angle lens and two Sola 1200 video lights also from L&M. The post production was done in Final Cut Pro X. MPEG encoding for YouTube was done using Compressor 4.

I was invited by Divelink Cebu to try for the first time the scuba diving experience in Malapascua Island in Cebu Philippines which is about 3-4 hours drive and boat ride from the main city, Cebu city.
This is a short video and vlog about my trip to Malapascua island and our first time with scuba diving. Our first time includes the basics of scuba diving in a shallow water.

Sharing with you all my travel escapade in MALAPASCUA ISLAND, CEBU PHILIPPINES. If you are looking for a place to relax and chill along with the nature, the sand, and the beach, this is the place to be!
If you have plans of traveling to Cebu from Manila, here’s the details of our itinerary which includes breakdown of expenses (starting from Cebu airport):
MANILA TO CEBU JANUARY 2019✈️????????
GOING TO MALAPASCUA ISLAND
Grab fare from Cebu airport to north bus terminal (20mins) - 219php????
???? Mejo mabilis ang byahe and there was no traffic pa since it was still early in the morning (5:40am)
From North Bus Terminal look for Ceres Bus going to “Maya Port” - Travel time 4-5hrs - AC bus costs 225php each person ????
???? Left terminal at 6:40am and arrived at Maya Port at 11:20am
????From Maya Port to Malapascua Island
- boat costs 100php each ???? (travel time : 1hr)
Day 1 in Malapascua Island (Chill and Rest day)
????checked in at Mabuhay Thresher Dive resort (1500php ???? overnight stay)
????lunch in Mabuhay Bar and Restaurant (970php ???? for 2 persons) - the food is fine but we suggest you go for other restaurants which is more worth the price.
????Dinner in Blue Water in Restaurant (1000php????) The food is okay and worth the price. The ambiance is great.
Day 2
????Breakfast in Mabuhay Bar and Restaurant (340php ????)
????Boat ride from malapascua island to Kalanggaman island (details on my next vlog)
????back to Malapascua Island, Dinner and chill in Blue Water in Restaurant (1200php???? - grilled pork belly, grilled baby back ribs, margarita pizza, 2 cocktail drinks and apple shake)
Day 3
????Breakfast in Mabuhay Bar and Restaurant (250php ????)
????Left Malapascua Island before lunch time to transfer in Bantayan Island, Cebu.
PS: Food prices in Malapascua Island are a bit expensive and there are no wide choices of seafood to eat! My overall stay is just an average in comparison to other Islands i have been before! Still, we managed to enjoy our stay! ❤️????????
