During many visits to this eerie jail I took many photographs, there are orbs in some of the shots. Some believe orbs are linked to the spirit world ...manifestations ...something paranormal, I leave that for you to decide.
It just amazes me the justice dealt out to people that stole to live, there was no Benefits or NHS then. Its tragic when you see the awful crimes that judges allow criminals to get away with today. Its a very sobering place to visit, sadly it is in a bad state, but slowly its being rebuilt. Hope they acheive their goal...(update the exhibits) and save this great piece of British History..

This is the second half of the video I made about Bodmin Jail, some of the exhibits in the cells have sadly had there day. Would be great to see the Jail as it was and some decent waxwork dummies in place. I guess it all takes an awful amount of money to do, anyhow good look to those trying to preserve some of Cornwalls great if not tragic history.

Today we were invited to the last ever tour of the super haunted Bodmin Jail / Gaol in Bodmin, Cornwall.
Bodmin Jail is an historic former prison situated in Bodmin, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. Built in 1779 and closed in 1927, the large range of buildings is now largely in ruins
We spent the day with some good friends and got to capture the last time around the jail before they rip it all up and turn it into a new attraction and hotel.
