BARCELONA BEACH WALK along Barceloneta Beach Promenade | Spain
A first-person perspective Barcelona walk tour of Barceloneta Beach along the long promenade that stretches alongside the beautiful and busy beach.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of Barcelona, featuring Barcelona Beaches, with Barceloneta Beach being one of the most popular. The tour begins looking towards Sant Sebastià Beach and the Hotel W Barcelona, then turns and follows the promenade north along Sant Miguel and Barceloneta Beaches, finishing near the ‘Golden Fish’ at Port Olímpic.
Sights seen along the tour include Barceloneta Beach, Sant Sebastià Beach, Sant Miguel Beach, Hotel W Barcelona, La Deliciosa Barcelonesa, Tapa Tapa Xiringuito, ‘L´Estel Ferit’ or ‘The Wounded Star’ sculpture (four twisted, stacked cubes) by Rebecca Horn, and Frank Gehry’s golden fish sculpture ‘El Peix’.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded June 2017.

Bogatell Beach -Playa-Olympic Village-Barcelona Spain
This beach is twice the length of adjoining Nova Icaria and fringed by a stretch of stone walkway perfect for jogging, roller blading and cycling. The raised promenade cuts down on traffic noise and makes it possible to almost believe you're a million miles from the city. No beach bars, but three large informal restaurants on the promenade. BARCELONA | SPAIN ~ Bogatell beach | La Rambla ~ part 1
Barcelona in April 2018, best weather to visit i think. Our apartment was located 10 mins away from Bogatell beach, the best part was that in the evening you could go there relax as the weather was perfect. We visited the crowded La rambla street and the famous La Boqueria market.

La Barceloneta (Catalan pronunciation: [ɫə βərsəɫuˈnɛtə]) is a neighborhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The neighborhood was constructed during the 18th century for the residents of the Ribera neighborhood who had been displaced by the construction of the Ciudadela of Barcelona. The neighborhood is roughly triangular, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Moll d'Espanya of Port Vell, and the El Born neighborhood. The neighborhood is serviced by its own stop on the Barcelona Metro. Torre Sant Sebastià is the terminus of the Port Vell Aerial Tramway; opened in 1931, it connects La Barceloneta with Montjuïc across Port Vell.
La Barceloneta is known for its sandy beach (which made an appearance in Don Quixote, book 2) and its many restaurants and nightclubs along the boardwalk. Over the past several years the quality of the sand on the beach has become a source of continued controversy. In February 2008, the World Health Organisation began an inquiry designed to ascertain whether the sand meets WHO beach health and safety guidelines.
Amongst the attractions on Barceloneta's beach are German artist Rebecca Horn's Homenatge a la Barceloneta monument, and, where the beach gives way to the Port Olimpic, Frank Gehry's modern Peix d'Or sculpture
