Bognor Regis West Sussex UK Travel Video
I am in Bognor Regis, in forgotten sea resort near Brighton and Portsmouth. Bognor is one of the oldest recorded Anglo-Saxon place names in Sussex. In a document of 680 AD it is referred to as Bucgan ora.
Town population is around 25 000 people.
This town is very good for short weekend visit.
In this place are big Polish speaking people community, the biggest what I ever seen in UK. In city center are located 5 big polish shops close to which other and in other local supermarkets you will find Polish products.

Bognor Regis to Wick & Thurso (Pt 1. Bognor Regis to Edinburgh)
Take a short break holiday to the Far North of Scotland in January 2015 - The first day we travel to London where we catch an express train to Edinburgh from London King's Cross. Enjoy the trip from the Sussex coast along the pretty Arun Valley, then through the busy London suburbs between Clapham Junction and London Victoria. We speed along the southern end of the East Coast main line through mainly flat countryside to York after which the scenery becomes more varied culminating in spectacular views from the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick and the cliff tops along the East Coast to Edinburgh.
Bognor Regis - Drive Through Time 2012 - HD
This is another short film collected at the very first Bognor Regis Drive Through Time, not to be confused with the previous motor show held outside the royal Norfolk Hotel, also in Bognor which has been cancelled for the previous few years. There was a number of classic cars attending including 4x4s, tiny little minis and open top roadsters. I was there on the Sunday of this two day event and no tripod was used during the making of this film!

Time Travel with Pendon Museum’s Outstanding Model Railways.
If you like model railways, you’ll love “The Vale Scene”. In this video we visit Pendon Museum to see two model railways; firstly “The Madder Valley Railway” dating from the 1930’s when everything had to be scratch built, because the model railway industry as we know it today was in its infancy. Secondly we visit “The Vale Scene”, the most lifelike model I have ever seen, even those with no interest in model railways will be amazed by the skill of the model makers who are creating this stunningly realistic window to a time fondly remembered. The Museum was first opened to the public in 1954, developing since those early days into the wonderful miniature world that can be seen today, where visitors are transported back in time to an idyllic English country scene. There is plenty more to be seen at Pendon including a beautiful recreation of the “Sea Wall” between Dawlish and Teignmouth. A visit to Pendon is likely to be enjoyed by all family members, visit pendonmuseum.com for more details. Due to its age “The Madder Valley Railway” runs on a limited number of days during the year. “The Vale Scene” is still under construction, giving visitors a chance to see how it is made.

Hreggviður Loki á ströndinni í Bognor Regis -
Loki fer í sjóinn í fyrsta sinn. Sumardvalarparadís í Englandi.
Bognor Regis is a small seaside town on the south coast of England in the county of West Sussex. It is situated approximately 70 miles south west of London. The town can trace its roots back to when it was a small fishing village. The town still has its fishermen, operating small inshore boats from the town's beaches, keeping alive the town's traditional link with the sea. :
Bognor is one of the oldest Saxon sites on record in West Sussex. The town is recorded in AD 680 as Bucgan ora meaning Bucge's shore. Bucge was one of the few Saxon women to have a place named after her. Over the years this Saxon-landing place became a small fishing village, and as with many places the name changed with time. In 1275 it was recorded as Buggenore and in 1405 as Bogenor. :
Clean beaches, a long promenade and plenty of things to do with the kids make it as appealing to families as it is to the thrill-seeking watersport enthusiasts who travel to the destination each year. Bognor Regis is also home to the well-known Butlin's Resort -- a four star holiday centre welcoming both day visitors and overnight guests. Its hotels and apartments are among a range of quality accommodation available across the town. :

Riding on the Hotham Park miniature railway- Bognor Regis
A passenger's eye view from the miniature railway in the park. The train makes two laps of the circuit on each trip so I filmed the first lap looking to one side and the next lap looking to the other.
Tip: if you go for a ride on a miniature railway they can be a bit bumpy- so take a cushion to sit on. ;-)
Places to see in ( Arundel - UK )
Places to see in ( Arundel - UK )
Arundel is a market town and civil parish in a steep vale of the South Downs, West Sussex, England. Arundel lies 49 miles SSW of London, 18 miles WNW of the English Channel city of Brighton, and 10 miles east of the county city of Chichester. Larger nearby towns include Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.
The much-conserved town with large green buffers has a medieval castle and Roman Catholic cathedral. Although smaller in population than most other parishes, Arundel has a museum and comes second behind much larger Chichester in its number of listed buildings in West Sussex. The River Arun runs through the eastern side of the town of Arundel .
Arundel was one of the boroughs reformed by the Municipal Reform Act 1835. From 1836-1889 the town had its own Borough police force with a strength of three. In 1974 Arundel became part of the Arun district, and now is a civil parish with a town council.
Arundel civil parish occupies an area somewhat larger than its built-up clusters, with the old town towards the north and the new to the south, separated by a main road. Arundel town is a major bridging point over the River Arun as it was the lowest road bridge until the opening of the Littlehampton swing bridge in 1908. Arundel Castle was built by the Normans to protect that vulnerable fairly wooded plain to the north of the valley through the South Downs. The town later grew up on the slope below the castle to the south.
Arundel includes meadows to the south but is clustered north of the A27 road, which narrowly avoids the town centre by a short and congested single carriageway bypass. Plans for a more extensive, HQDC bypass were debated intensely between 1980 and 2010 and built a junction for it at Crossbush. Arundel railway station is on the Arun Valley Line. The Monarch's Way long-distance footpath passes through the town and crosses the river here, while just under five miles north and north-west of the town the route of the South Downs Way runs. The town itself lies outside the boundaries of the South Downs National Park.
Arundel is home to Arundel Castle, seat of the Duke of Norfolk; and to Arundel Cathedral, seat of the (Catholic) Bishop of Arundel and Brighton. On 6 July 2004, Arundel was granted Fairtrade Town status. People born in Arundel are known locally as Mullets, due to the presence of mullet in the River Arun. Arundel is home to one of the oldest Scout Groups in the world. 1st Arundel (Earl of Arundel's Own) Scout Group was formed in 1908 only a few weeks after Scouting began.
( Arundel - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Arundel . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Arundel - UK

Urban Wildlife Photography at Hotham Park
I decided to take a walk around my local park in Bognor Regis, West Sussex recently to see what wildlife I could photograph. I came away with some shots I was quite happy with and others I was very surprised about !
