Bohey Dulang is a mountainous island formed by the remnants of an ancient volcano.
It is separated from Bodgaya, the biggest island in Tun Sakaran Marine Park, by a shallow channel.
The crater forming Bohey Dulang is now flooded with seawater creating a large, majestic lagoon 25m deep.
The southern side of the lagoon is open, but just below the aqua-coloured water’s surface is a long stretch of coral reef representing the southern crater rim

Bohey Dulang Island

Bohey Dulang is the second largest island of Semporna Islands Park (or Tun Sakaran Marine Park) and it has one of the most beautiful scenery in Sabah. You can reach this island in 30 minutes by a boat from Semporna town, then hike 600 Meters to the top of its hill for a breathtaking view. More info:

Bohey Dulang & Mataking Island, Semporna, Sabah (GoPro Hero 3+)

Bohey Dulang is one of the island can be found in Semporna, Sabah. It takes almost 1 hour to get to the jetty of bohey dulang from Semporna. To get the superb view of Bohey Dulang, you need to hike about 600m to reach the peak. Bring your own drinking water to keep your body hydrated. After enjoying the view of Bohey Dulang, our boat driver get us to the one of the private island in Semporna which is Mataking Island. Famous with his beautiful corals, Mataking Island is one of the best spot for the divers to enjoy the corals. You have not to worry about the safety because there are many esscoms that protect the safety of the visitors. Enjoy the video and happy traveling!
