The Bojana or Buna (Albanian: Bunë or Buna; Montenegrin: Bojana/Бојана), is a 41 km long river in Albania and Montenegro which flows into the Adriatic Sea. An outflow of Lake Skadar, measured from the source of the lake's longest tributary, the Morača, the Morača-Lake Skadar- Bojana system is 183 km long.

Buna (alb. Bunë, Buna; serb. Бојана -- Bojana) -- krótka rzeka w północnej Albanii i w południowej Czarnogórze, połączenie Jeziora Szkoderskiego z Morzem Adriatyckim. Długość -- 44 km (14 km w Albanii, 30 km tworzy granicę albańsko-czarnogórską), powierzchnia zlewni -- 5187 km², średni przepływ -- 352 m³/s (druga pod tym względem rzeka Adriatyku). Rzeka jest w zasadzie żeglowna, ale żeglugę uniemożliwiają niskie mosty.

Вытекает из Скадарского озера у города Шкодер, впадает в Адриатическое море. Длина реки составляет 41 км, но если мерить от истоков самого длинного притока Скадарского озера реки Морача, то суммарная длина системы составляет 183 км.

Teče u velikim krivinama sa prosečnim padom od 0,6 %. Drimnjača i reka Kiri donose u Bojanu velike količine nanosa, i ona bi mogla postati plovna jedino stalnim bagerovanjem.

Lumi Buna ndodhet në segmentin fundor jugperëndimor të kufirit shqiptaro-malazez. Ky lum buron nga Liqeni i Shkodrës, fare pranë qytetit të Shkodrës, ndërmjet kodrës së Kalasë Rozafa dhe Malit të Taraboshit. Buna është i vetmi emisar i Liqenit të Shkodrës.

Buna në fillim drejtohet nga jugu, rrëzë Taraboshit, më tej ajo gjarpëron drejt perëndimit e më pas merr përsëri drejtimin drejt jugut, derisa derdhet në Detin Adriatik. Kufiri shtetëror ndërmjet Shqipërisë dhe Malin e Zi përshkon së gjati Bunën nga fshati Samrish në Shqipëri dhe Goricë në Mal të Zi, duke vazhduar deri në grykëderdhje. Lumi ka gjatësi 44 km dhe rrjedh përgjatë fushave të Bregut të Bunës ku përfshihen Fusha e Anamalit në të djathtë të lumit dhe Fusha e Trushit bashkë me fushën e Velipojës në të majtë.

About 62 percent of the lake lies in Montenegro and the rest in Albania. Home to several species of fish and birds, Skadarsko Jezero is a critical wintering and staging site for migratory birds and European waterfowl and the western most nesting site for the rare and elegant curly or Dalmatian pelican; in all, more than 280 species of birds have been recorded here, as well as 50 species of fish. Skadarsko Jezero is largely fed by rivers, springs and underground watercourses and is connected to the Adriatic Sea by the River Bojana.

Ada Bojana riječno je ostrvo na samom kraju ulcinjske Velike plaže, na mjestu gdje se rijeka Bojana odvaja od nje.
Otok je umjetno stvoren. Poslije jednog velikog nevremena sredinom 19. stoljeća, tu se nasukao brod Merito iz Trogira. Na tom mjestu su tada postojala dva mala otoka. Godinama se oko trupa potonulog broda i ova dva otoka skupljao riječni nanos od kojega je najprije nastao sprud, a zatim i otok. Izronjavanjem na površinu vode, otok je rijeku podijelilo na dva kraka.
Ada Bojana je elitno mjesto za surfanje na vjetru. Povoljni vjetrovi prave odlične valove koji omogućavaju surfanje. Na Adi Bojani se nalazi škola windsurfa. Potencijali Ade Bojane zadovoljavaju i amatere i stroge kriterije profesionalaca. Početnicima pogoduje ravna linija vode jezerca na kome se uče prvi koraci u ovom sportu. Već sedmodnevna obuka kod profesionalnih učitelja omogućava uživanje na vjetru, a poslije mjesec dana obuke dostupni su vam vjetrovi na otvorenom moru. УЛЦИНЬ АДА БОЯНА ЧЕРНОГОРИЯ.

The name Ada means river island in Montenegrin.

- Camp on Ada Bojana is well-known tourist centre, located 18km south-east from town Ulcinj, so to say on the border with Albania. Part of this centre is already from 1973 FKK camp Ada Bojana.

Camp is located on island Ada that is long about 3km and wide 2km. It is from two sides encircled with river Bojana, while on the third side you will be able to enjoy sandy beach. As camp is part of the complex, gusts can enjoy its restaurants, bars, discotheque and sport facilities.
